1) New warp banners

Honkai Star Rail 2.4 will see the debut of Yunli and Jiaoqiu as playable 5-star characters alongside their signature Light Cones. While the former is a Path of Destruction unit from the Physical element, the latter is from the Path of Nihility wielding the Fire element.

Like previous instances, it is expected that HoYoverse will showcase the animations and gameplay of Yunli and Jiaoqiu, alongside a brief of their abilities in the game.

2) New Trailblaze mission

The upcoming HSR 2.4 update is expected to release brand-new Trailblaze missions furthering the narrative. Following the events at Penacony in the ongoing version 2.3, the storyline is expected to return to Xianzhou Luofu.

4) New enemies

Leaks from HomDGCat claim that three new types of enemies will be introduced in Honkai Star Rail version 2.4. Here are the names of each one:

• Howling Casket
• Sableclaw Wolftrooper
• Eclipse Wolftrooper

These opponents will also reportedly come with the following new skills:

• Moonrage Phase: When the elites enter the Moonphase state, their SPD is increased, whereas when the minions enter the state, they inflict Bleed or recover HP. It can be removed by Weakness Break.
• Lingering Fear: Elites affected by the Moonrage Phase will apply Lingering Fear on all characters. Units inflicted with this status effect will become Terrified on the second turn and will become unable to act.
