The Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 Special Program livestream, titled "Tour De Inferno," will soon premiere on September 13, 2024, at 7:30 PM (UTC +8). It will provide details about the upcoming update while also rewarding fans with a limited-time redemption code.
Here are all the major announcements expected to be a part of it:
1) New characters and banners
HoYoverse has already confirmed that Caesar King and Burnice White will debut as playable Agents in ZZZ v1.2. Both of them are part of the Sons of Calydon faction and are based in the Outer Ring.
The version 1.2 livestream is expected to showcase the gameplay of both characters while also revealing their release order.
As per information from Seele Leaks, here is the speculated banner order for the next patch:
- First half (September 25): Caesar King, with Lucy and Anton
- Second half (October 16): Burnice White, with Piper and Nicole

2) New W-Engines
As expected, HoYoverse will introduce the signature S-Rank W-Engines of Caesar King and Burnice White. While the former's exclusive W-Engine is black colored with a golden Sons of Calydon logo on it, the latter's is red, silver, and golden colored.
It is expected that the developer will provide a peek at these new W-Engines and may reveal its stats.
3) New Bangboo
A new Bangboo may also be coming to ZZZ in the new v1.2 update. Leaks have suggested that it would be a red-colored Bangboo wearing a black jacket and sporting a green mohawk. It is speculated to be affiliated with the Sons of Calydon faction, due to its pig-like design characteristics.
4) Outer Ring area
One of the most exciting things about Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 is the introduction of a new area. It is expected that following its release, players will have the opportunity to explore the Outer Ring area, which is located outside of New Eridu. More information about this region is expected to be announced in the 1.2 livestream.
5) New events and free Lucy
Leaks from Flying Flame have suggested that the new ZZZ 1.2 update may feature an event called Overlord's Banquet, among others. It is expected that the participants may have the chance to obtain the A-Rank character, Lucy, for free. HoYoverse is likely to reveal more about this free character in the livestream.
