One of the major changes that players will notice with the Train rework in CS2 is with the weather and lighting. Unlike the older version, it now rains on the outer parts of the map. Additionally, if observed closely, you can see raindrops landing on your character model’s arms, gloves, and knife.
Apart from the weather, Valve has changed the lighting since the map now features nighttime time. The previous version only featured daytime. Players can now see various bulbs and fluorescent lights, which presents an old warehouse-ish vibe.

2) No ladder from Popdog to T-Upper
Valve has removed the ladder from Popdog to T-Upper. This used to play a significant role for teams pushing towards the A-site or rotating from B to A-site. Now, players have to go around and down into a long hallway that connects Popdog with T-Upper.
This will significantly impact each round, as players will need more time to rotate and won't become victims of surprise attacks from opponents. Additionally, the hallway grants one a decent amount of space to play from and score some kills.
3) A-site Sandwich removed
One of the major changes that CS2 players will notice is there is no Sandwich on A-site anymore. Sandwich – the train after players come out of A-main – has been removed, exposing most of the bomb site. Now they won't be able to go up the train and catch adversaries off-guard.
However, after proper execution, one can easily go into the site without having to clear an exceptional amount of angles, leading to them gaining control of the site faster.

4) New building on B-site rafters
Another eye-catching change that can be noticed on the newly reworked Train in CS2 is the new building on B rafters. In the older version of the map, T-side players would have to smoke the rafter off to push into the site as there were too many angles that needed to be cleared. Since CT players can easily hold the entrance from the other side, wasting a smoke grenade was necessary.
Now that it's blocked off, T-side players don't have to clear the angles or waste a smoke grenade to ensure they don't get eliminated while pushing into the site. Moreover, the newly added spot also offers players on the CT side more cover to play from.

5) A Heaven removed
Lastly, a major change that could disappoint CS2 players is the removal of A Heaven. From the first iteration of Train, players could use the ladder on A-site to climb to A Heaven, which was an excellent way to pick off unsuspecting opponents.
While it was a spot for players to be in, it was not as viable and players can easily take some fall damage if they don't use the ladder properly. Now that it’s removed, T-side players don't have to worry about an off-angle and push the site easily.
