The Perfect World Shanghai CS Major starts tomorrow (November 30, 2024) and the hype amongst the community is immense. While we saw many new teams and players qualifying for a CS major for the first time, some veterans continue to extend their careers by qualifying for yet another major. These Counter-Strike 2 icons have consistently demonstrated their skills for almost a decade now.

On that note, here are the five players with the most CS major appearances.

Brazilian legend Gabriel Toledo de "FalleN" Alcântara Sguario is known for both his sniping skills and name that is hard to memorize. He is one of the oldest active Counter-Strike players, who has been playing tournaments since 2003 and has participated in 16 CS majors. Gabriel already has two major wins: ESL One Cologne 2016 and MLG Major Championship Columbus 2016.

He signed with Furia Esports in June 2023 and has gotten some good placements in various high-tier tournaments but no wins. The community is eager if the Shanghai Major would result in a huge comeback of FalleN and team Furia.

4) KRIMZ

Lars "KRIMZ" Freddy Johansson has been part of the Fnatic active roster since 2016. He won two majors in his Counter-Strike career, both for Fnatic: ESL One Cologne 2015 and ESL One Katowice 2015. After qualifying for the Shanghai Major, he is now officially part of 17 different major events which is quite impressive considering he is only active since 2013.

Unfortunately, the past few years have been quite rough for Fnatic, with no high-tier wins and barely qualifying for S-tier events. But hopes are high, as this is the first time they will be playing a major with BlameF as the in-game leader.

3) rain

He has been part of the active FaZe Clan roster since the beginning of 2016, alongside Karrigan, and has multiple MVP awards under his name. He is also the oldest player ever to win a major event, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 at the age of 27.
