Since his swashbuckling performance for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup, James has not been able to prove his potential at the biggest of stages. His move to Real Madrid was expected to make him one of the world’s best players, however, lack of chances and the presence of some of the world’s biggest names, he has failed to fulfil the promises he had shown earlier.
In the game though, the 24-year-old is rated at a massive 87 and has the potential to reach a rating of 92. His value might be a let off for most of the players, a gigantic €61M, which might even differ from user to user. James’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2020 as well.
