Kick has served as the ideal platform for outspoken personalities due to its relaxed moderation tactics. Many of these personalities have attracted controversy sometime during their Kick streaming careers. From being physically assaulted on live broadcast to being in a foreign country and making racist remarks against its citizens, many Kick streamers have become notorious for their contentious actions.

This article explores five popular Kick streams that have been embroiled in controversies in the past.

Paul "Ice Poseidon" is a veteran streamer known for his old-school RuneScape gameplay on Twitch, which propelled him to popularity in 2015. From facing a Twitch ban after being swatted on an airplane while livestreaming to being stream-sniped so often that he nearly had to stop, Paul has been embroiled in a number of controversies.

One of his most significant and relatively recent ones was when he nearly faced jail time in Thailand for violating the country's strict anti-p*rnography laws. In June 2023, during a lounge party, the 29-year-old wore lingerie and gave his partner, Kimberly, a lapdance. The restaurant manager apprehended him and accused him of disrespecting Thai culture.

When Paul and his friends tried defending themselves, they were told that their actions were being recorded on security cameras and that they were illegal. They were taken to the embassy and forced to write an "admission of guilt."

Set to face prison time, Ice Poseidon was eventually released and allowed to leave Thailand without being charged. He also issued a public apology for the incident, which he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Harrison "HSTikkyTokky" is a 22-year-old British fitness influencer whose content is focused on IRL vlogs surrounding his daily life. He has over 101,000 followers and is one of the most popular streamers on Kick.

However, his meteoric rise to fame has been riddled with controversy, from landing in trouble for allegedly using illegal substances while on stream (with him admitting his usage to his audience more than once) to being involved in a swatting incident after accidentally leaking the gym at which he was streaming.

However, his most recent controversy came when he and fellow streamer Zherka got into a physical altercation. Both streamers had been involved in a very vocal feud online, but things soon turned ugly, and the beef turned physical.

The two went toe to toe in front of a restaurant, nearly coming in the way of traffic. The fight escalated to the point where both men were trying to throw the other to the ground.

However, Harrison appeared to have the upper hand in the fight before the two were separated.

3) Adin Ross

Currently the biggest creator on Kick with over 802,000 followers, Adin is no stranger to drama. In fact, his controversies have been so intense that he has been completely banned from Twitch for repeated violations of community guidelines.

One of his most outright controversial takes came when he used the homophobic term "f****t" during a telephonic conversation with his friend, Josh "YourRAGE."

This did not go unnoticed, as users online blasted him for his usage of the term. More recently, he was involved in a public beef with fellow streamer N3on over his new girlfriend, Samantha. Adin even offered to pay for the legal fees of a fan who was assaulted by Sam.

4) N3on

Rising to fame initially through collaborations with Adin Ross, Rangesh "N3on" made a name for himself for his controversial takes and unfiltered content. The IRL streamer landed in hot water after going off on a brutal rant against viral star Ali C Lopez, a trans woman who gained fame for her obesity.

The incident occurred when Adin Ross, N3on, and Sneako were on call with Ali. The rant was so vicious that even fellow controversial streamer Sneako left the call:

"Please f**king tell me! How do you not want to kill yourself? You're fat, obese. Somebody needs to f**king stone you, b**ch! Someone needs to f**king stone you!"

Fans were displeased with his behavior, pointing out that Sneako, who is notorious for his controversial antics, seemed to be the most reasonable individual during the call.

Bruce "BruceDropEmOff" is a Just Chatting streamer and a former member of One True King. He has over 300,000 followers on Kick and averages around 7,000 viewers per stream.

He has been under fire in the past and is a subject of repeated bans due to his frequent usage of racist slurs as well as for making offensive statements. On January 26, 2023, his alternate Twitch account, "offmepordecurb," was banned for alleged racist remarks. He later decided to livestream on his main account, which is considered "ban evasion" by Twitch, so he was banned there as well.

When he returned to the platform on February 27, 2023, following a month-long ban, he immediately sparked another controversy by holding up a sign that read "f*ck dem..." and a box of crackers during his livestream. He was banned from Twitch for this action, his third ban overall.

A few months later, BruceDropEmOff made homophobic remarks against the stylist of singer-songwriter Darryl "DDG." Soon after, he received his fourth and final Twitch ban, leading to his indefinite ban from the platform.

During a stream on Kick, Bruce went on a tirade against American social media personalities and hip-hop duo Island Boys. He made some homophobic remarks in an explosive rant:

"And, I don't know what the f**k is going on in the world. Why n****s is even entertaining? G*y a*s n****s. Like, them n****s are f**king g*y!... Firing squad, now!"

In a more recent controversy, leaked personal messages showed Bruce allegedly referring to Lil Yachty using homophobic slurs and calling Adin Ross a "cr**ker." He further took shots at popular content creators like IShowSpeed, which was met with severe backlash. Thereafter, KaiCenat and BruceDropEmOff unfollowed each other on X.
