5 reasons to get Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail

Honkai Star Rail will finally see Feixiao's debut after her drip marketing announcement post had fans waiting for a long time. Upon her release, she will be added to the Wind character roster mainly focusing on dealing hefty damage with each attack. She can only deal damage to a single enemy at a time solely because of her affiliation with The Hunt Path which is known to feature characters excelling in single-target damage.

Having said that, this article lists five reasons why Trailblazers should pull for Feixiao during the Honkai Star Rail version 2.5 update.

Reasons to pull for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail

1) Unique kit

Just like any other character in Honkai Star Rail, Feixiao also boasts a kit that is unique to her. While characters that feature the same playstyle deal damage to the enemies using the same method, the way they deal damage along with the functions of their kit is unique to them.

If you want a character that not only can deal a hefty chunk of damage but also boasts a uniqueness in every aspect of their kit, then Feixiao is the character you should be pulling for in Honkai Star Rail version 2.5.

2) Stellar voice acting

While it may seem odd, some Trailblazers tend to pull for character solely because of the voice actors behind them. As for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail, she is voiced by some prominent voice actresses from the industry across multiple languages.

Feixiao’s english voice actress, Anairis Quinones, is quite famous in the voice acting field. She has worked in several games including Genshin Impact. Feixiao’s Japanese voice actress, Komatsu Mikako, is known for her voice as Maki Zenin from Jujutsu Kaisen.

3) Breathtaking character design and animations

Keeping up with the trend, HoYoverse aced yet another time while animating Feixiao’s attacks, most importantly her Ultimate animation. Following Acheron, Feixiao is the second character to enter another phase while casting their ultimate.

Apart from the Ultimate animation, Feixiao’s character design is something you should be taking a look at. As she is a foxian, her long ears along with the white attire distinguished her from the other characters in Honkai Star Rail.

Another thing to keep in mind while pulling for a character is to consider if they will get power crept quickly or not. Since Honkai Star Rail is a gacha game, players always look for the meta-defining characters that will help them clear the endgame activities without breaking a sweat.

As for Feixiao, it is highly unlikely that she will become a victim of power creep. The FUA characters are still one of the meta-defining units, so Feixiao will likely not get power crept quickly.

Another reason why you should be pulling for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail version 2.5 is because building her is exceptionally simple. Judging by how her kit works, she needs the same stats as most normal DPS units, CRIT. As no new Relic sets are getting introduced in the upcoming version 2.5, players will have an easier time building her as they can start pre-farming.

Since acquiring the Relics is the most hard and time-consuming part of building a character, this will likely give all players a headstart after her release. Moreover, she will need CRIT stats as she functions like a normal DPS unit. The more equal the CRIT ratio is, the more damage she will deal consistently.
