The Honkai Star Rail version 2.6 first phase banners are finally live, and Trailblazers can spend their Stellar Jades to pull either Rappa or DHIL. Since the latter has become a victim of power creeping, players will likely pull for the former while the banners are active. Additionally, as her playstyle, the Weakness Break damage is dominating the meta, many players will be pulling for her. However, there are some who will likely skip the phase entirely.
For those, this article will list five reasons why Trailblazers should be pulling Rappa during the first phase of Honkai Star Rail version 2.6.

Reasons why you should consider pulling Rappa in Honkai Star Rail
1) One of a kind animations
One of the primary reasons to pull for Rappa is the unique animation she has when attacking an enemy in the Sealform state. When in that state, Rappa can unleash a total of three attacks in a first-person perspective, which is unique as no other characters in this HoYoverse gacha title have it.
Apart from that, Rappa's normal animations are also quite charming as they are very colorful and feature graffiti designs. When she is using her technique and roaming around, Rappa also leaves a trail of colors behind her which disappears after a while.
2) Spectacular voice acting across multiple languages
There are multiple reasons a player pulls for a character. The reasons can be either the character is meta-defining, has good voice actors, or because of good character design. In Rappa’s case, many Trailblazers will likely spend their Stellar Jades because they find her voice quite charming and cute.
Kendell Byrd and Megumi Han are voicing Rappa’s voice lines in English and Japanese dubs, respectively. Most players might know Megumi Han for her role as Arima Kana in the drama anime, Oshi no Ko.
3) One of the best damage dealers in the current meta
If you don't have any DPS characters that deal Weakness Break Effect damage, Rappa is the best unit you can pull right now. Compared to other BE units in this title, Rappa is better in terms of dealing damage to multiple enemies simultaneously. However, she cannot stand on par with Firefly's ability to deal absurd chunks of damage.
When Compared to characters such as Boothill, Rappa is destined to win in wave clearing as the former is a Hunt unit that usually specializes in single target damage. Therefore, if you already have units, such as Ruan Mei and Gallagher, you should definitely roll for Rappa.
4) Can work as a replacement of Firefly
If you have Firefly added to your collection and are bored of playing with her for the past couple of months, Rappa can be a good replacement. Moreover, if you don't have her but added characters such as Lingsha, Ruan Mei or other BE units to your collection, Rappa is currently the best choice.
Since Firefly and Rappa require the exact same Relic set and characters to accompany her in fights, you can just pull the latter and swap the Relic sets. Doing so is perfectly fine as you won’t be using both DPS units in the same team and as there are not many characters featuring the BE style, you cannot construct another team with Firefly.
5) Very slim chance of getting power crept
One important reason that you should pull for Rappa in Honkai Star Rail is her negligible chances of becoming a victim of power creeping. Since HoYoverse is still releasing more and more BE characters, it is highly unlikely that they will be power crept in coming updates.
For example, the DoT teams featuring Kafka and others are still viable even after a year. This implies, players still have a long time before the BE teams and characters will start becoming less popular.
