With Honkai Star Rail 2.4 patch’s release right around the corner, Yunli’s debut is on the horizon. Trailblazers will be able to acquire this Sword master from the Xianzhou Zhuming, after the release on July 31, 2024. As Yunli treads on the Path of Destruction and seeing the way her kit is constructed, players might hesitate to pull for her.

1) Easy to build character

Unlike other DPS units, building Yunli in Honkai Star Rail 2.4 is rather easy. Since most of her abilities scale with her CRIT and ATK stats, you will always need to look for these stats on her Relic and Planar Ornament pieces.

Acquiring the perfect stats for Yunli is easy since you will be farming for these Relics and Planar Ornaments for a decent amount of time. Additionally, farming for Planar Ornaments is rather easy in the ongoing version due to the addition of Divergent Universes to the game.

As for her Light Cones, anything that scales with ATK and CRIT will work just fine on Yunli.

2) Perfect DPS unit for the ongoing meta

The follow-up attack play style featuring FUA units like Topaz, Jade, Himeko, and more is quite popular due to their ability to easily eliminate opponents. Since Yunli can launch follow-up attacks, she falls under the same category. She can be paired up with any of the aforementioned characters to complete various activities that the title offers.

Apart from that, she will be an important asset for the various Pure Fiction teams in Honkai Star Rail 2.4, since the follow-up attack teams dominate in the game mode as they have to clear multiple enemy waves continuously.

Yunli’s ability to fit into a variety of teams is another reason why Trailblazers should get her in Honkai Star Rail 2.4. Due to how her abilities work, she can fit in either hypercarry or follow-up attack teams. Since her abilities scale with ATK and CRIT stats, she can be paired with most of the Harmony units such as Sparkle, Tingyun, Yukong, Bronya, and more.

When placed in a hyper carry team, two Harmony characters can assist her and amplify her damage. When in a follow-up attack team, another damage-dealing unit can fill the main or sub DPS role while accompanied by a Harmony character.

Among all the follow-up attack characters, Yunli’s kit is the most unique one. While the others can only launch follow-up attacks, Yunli can taunt her adversaries, making them attack her. Apart from this, she also boasts a unique mechanic named Parry, which Yunli can acquire by triggering her Ultimate ability.

This unique ability makes Yunli one of the characters that Trailblazers can play with without getting bored. Moreover, while in the Parry state, Yunli must get hit by an opponent which allows her to unleash an enhanced follow-up attack dealing a ridiculous amount of Physical damage.
