From Far Cry Primal to Splinter Cell Blacklist, here are 5 underrated Ubisoft games
1) Watch Dogs
The first game in the Watch Dogs series was released in 2014, and has often been looked over when compared with the other installments. While Watch Dogs 2 may be remembered fondly for its open world and Legion is criticised for the multi-protagonist story approach, the starter is a very good game in its own right, even to this day.
Aiden Pearce's journey of vigilantism is one of the best-told Ubisoft stories.Though the driving mechanics are not the best, the open world is fun to explore and exist within. The DLCs also build onto the story well, making for a memorable experience.
Available on: PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Stadia

2) Splinter Cell Blacklist
The 2013 Splinter Cell entry remains the latest in the acclaimed stealth game series. Placing players once again into the shoes of popular protagonist Sam Fisher, it focuses on his new role as the spymaster and commander of the Fourth Echelon.
The campaign mode takes players to a variety of settings across the world, which include missions set in the UK, Guam, Paraguay, Libya, Tehran, and many more. The game is also the biggest in terms of scale and content, when compared to every previous entry in the franchise.
Available on: PS3, PC, Xbox 360, Wii U
3) Assassin's Creed Syndicate
2015's Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes players to 19th-century London, and places them into the shoes of two protagonists, twins Jacob and Evie Fray. Their goal is to navigate through the troubled times of the city during the Industrial Revolution in 1868, and defeat the organized crime rings and the disparity caused by the Templars.
The series' popular assassination methods are on full display, and so are era-appropriate combat and traversal methods. The game was the last in the series to be an annual release, and it also features three DLCs which expand upon the story.
Available on: PS4, PC, Stadia, Xbox One

4) Far Cry Primal
A spin-off game from the main series, Far Cry Primal was released in 2016. It sits nestled between the two main-line entries of 2014's Far Cry 4 and 2018's Far Cry 5, and takes players to prehistoric times. This is, as many would call it, a far cry from the series' usual modern-era settings.
The main protagonist is called Takkar, and he has the ability to tame wild animals to help him in combat. Era-appropriate weapons such as spears, bows, clubs and more can be utilised. The title is a fantastic survival game, and features prehostoric animals such as mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers, and more.
Available on: PS4, PC, Stadia, Xbox One
5) Rayman Legends
Ubisoft's platforming series, Rayman, has garnered a cult following, and the latest entry in the series was released in 2013. The title is a direct sequel to 2011's Rayman Origins, and includes much of the content from its prequel as well. The title focuses on the journey of the series' established protagonist, also called Rayman.
The game allows for four player co-op gameplay, and has the series' established platforming gameplay locked down very well. There is also a minigame within the main title called Kung Foot, a football game which allows between two and four players to join in.
Available on: PS3, PS4, PS Vita, PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Switch, Stadia
