Shadow of the Erdtree builds onto the already strong base established by Elden Ring in 2022 and brings with it new areas, content, weapons, and much more to explore. Enter the Land of the Shadow in pursuit of Miquella, an all-new world separate from the Lands Between where the base game takes place.

The expansion also allows for seamless to and fro travel between these two maps, and has a host of new enemies that you must face. That said, there are many new weapons and armor pieces to defend yourself with. In the quest for Miquella, you will learn about the past of Marika, Queen of the Eternal.
