Fugue in Honkai Star Rail can make for some fun team setups, but she cannot be included in every squad. Given her ability to buff ally break and super break damage, having her on the side helps some characters more than others. A Fugue team in Honkai Star Rail will generally revolve around break characters, so the number of possibilities is somewhat limited.

This article will go over a few characters who will benefit if you run them alongside Fugue in Honkai Star Rail.

Characters who synergize the most with Fugue in Honkai Star Rail

1) Firefly

Firefly ranks on the top of the charts as the character who benefits the most by having Fugue in Honkai Star Rail on her team. Firefly teams in Honkai Star Rail will now consist of Fugue, Ruan Mei, and Lingsha — all top-of-the-charts characters when it comes to the break meta. Ruan Mei can buff break efficiency, while Fugue adds the super break buff on top of that.

Lingsha can debuff enemies to take more break damage, making this team extremely effective. The fact that Firefly's technique allows her to implant Fire weakness also plays a major role as Fugue and Lingsha will also be able to join in on the action and decimate enemy toughness bars with ease.

2) Rappa

Another character who Fugue in Honkai Star Rail makes a great teammate for is the Galaxy Ranger, Rappa. The Dazzling Ninja performs quite similarly to Firefly and is currently the second-best break DPS in the game.

Fugue can buff Rappa's break efficiency and super break damage, allowing her to melt a mob of enemies quickly.

3) Boothill

Boothill has long lacked a true break support that can play to his strengths for a while. Similar to other break-oriented DPS characters like Firefly or Rappa, his team consisted of Harmony MC, Ruan Mei, and either Lingsha or Gallagher. However, the addition of Fugue brings more flexibility to the Galaxy Ranger.

Fugue allows him to ignore enemy weakness and reduce the toughness bar regardless if they are weak to physical damage or not due to her Colorless Break mechanic. This makes Boothill extremely deadly, as now he can turn bosses to dust with added ease.

4) Himeko

You can partner Himeko with Fugue in Honkai Star Rail as the navigator for the Astral Express to gain some massive advantage by having the Foxian merchant on her team. Both of them have Fire as their element, and Fugue can buff Himeko's damage, allowing her to deplete enemy toughness bars easily, which in turn allows the navigator for the Astral Express to launch her follow-up attacks.

Fugue's ability to act as a secondary DPS with her ultimate makes her an essential asset who can destroy enemy toughness bars, allowing Himeko to launch her follow-up attacks that can deal Super Break damage to foes.

5) Lingsha

Lingsha is undoubtedly one of the most broken characters currently due to the amount of utility she brings to the table. Not only can she do an excellent job at her primary role of providing heals to the team, but also she can debuff enemies to take more Break Damage. She also benefits by having Fugue in Honkai Star Rail in her team, in case you want to run her as a main DPS.

Her own damage output is also ridiculously high, and Fugue can buff her to devastate enemies. Both of them work in a weird synergy where both Lingsha and Fugue can deal high damage to enemies and find benefit in each other's utility.

6) Xueyi

Last, but not least is Xueyi, who makes for an excellent free-to-play break DPS in the game. Fugue can easily buff her damage, allowing her to break quantum weak enemies easily and land the super breaks as well, thanks to one of the buffs that the Foxian merchant provides.

Putting both Xueyi and Fugue in the same team can work wonders against bosses like Cocolia who are weak to both Fire and Quantum, and can make for an overall great synergy.
