#2 Until Dawn

Until Dawn is an adventure horror game that features brilliant sound design, voice, graphics and more importantly its non-linear game design.

Out of all the games on this list, Until Dawn provides the most replay value for it features the 'Butterfly Effect.' Each decision the player makes has consequences and opens up new features of the game, leading to a completely different ending every time a different move is made. With the way the game plays out, it is similar to the critically acclaimed Heavy Rain game.

Until Dawn won the 2014 Best Horror Game award at the Global Game Awards. The PS4 version of the game hit the stores in August 2015.

From the developers of the ever-popular Dark Souls series, Bloodborne is an action role-playing game that introduces horror in a subtle fashion that keeps the players at the edge of their seats throughout their time. The game's mechanics, visuals and sound design are brilliant, and with its third-person perspective, the action and combat sequences are very engaging. Furthermore, for its design, Bloodborne was nominated for the best PlayStation 4 game during IGN's Best of E3 2014 awards.
