You can also carry weapons as you encounter enemies that you might find along the way. The game also has dungeons and features extremely powerful bosses who can be incredibly hard to defeat. The plot of the story is not too great but it is still fun. Combined with all these great things about the game, Owlboy is one of the best underrated indie games you can get for the Nintendo Switch.
#1 The Messenger
Initial Release Date: 30 August 2018
The Messenger is heavily inspired by Ninja Gaiden, one of the most popular platforming games in the 90s. The game features classic elements such as run-and-gun, encountering enemies, dungeons and bosses. Players can also upgrade their weapon throughout the game
You essentially control a ninja character, so he is very fluid in movements, has long range and short range attacks and can be stealthy if necessary. Ninja Gaiden has lost its original charm but The Messenger reminds us what a truly amazing game it was and is also amazing in its own way.
