Naughty Dog’s upcoming game, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, will soon be releasing using the new PlayStation4 hardware as Sony’s console is capable of great looking games and high frame rates. The most important question that was posed to the developers of the game, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, was that how hard would it be to achieve 60 frames per second for the upcoming sequel.
Naughty Dog said that it was really hard to achieve for any game like it was really hard on ‘The Last of Us: Remastered’ which they finished and knew exactly what the end result needed to look like. But, they’re pushing ways so that the game looks realistic, but trying to do sixty is really hard.
Naughty Dog also said that they would sacrifice this for the sake of experience. The objective is obviously to make the best experience. They might have given upon 60 fps but are still looking forward to push the look and see where they are at and then reasses accordingly so that the game feels and looks as the best.
The above discussion was made in an interview recently where the game developers sat down with Game Informer to talk about Uncharted 4. The same interview also confirmed that this game is due for release in 2015 but there is no specific date given to this highly anticipated PlayStation4 exclusive.
