As mentioned earlier, Namor is an incredible beginner-friendly Duelist. His primary fire, Trident of Neptune, is a ranged attack that deals a decent amount of damage. It also charges up his Aquatic Dominion (E) ability, which summons turret-like squids that attack opponents in range.

Namor in Marvel Rivals doesn't have any flashy movement mechanics. His attacks are fairly simple, and his abilities don't require a lot of complicated maneuvers. Overall, he's quite easy to play, which is reflected by his two-star difficulty rating.


2) Squirrel Girl

Squirrel Girl is yet another easy-to-learn Duelist in Marvel Rivals. Her primary fire, Burst Acorn, essentially shoots acorns at enemies to deal damage. Apart from that, she can summon squirrels to attack or imprison opponents, using either Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami or Squirrel Blockade, respectively.

Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rivals is very easy to learn. She has a one-star difficulty rating and most of her attacks involve unleashing a pack of squirrels on the opponents. She is certainly one of the most beginner-friendly Duelists in the game.

The Punisher is a character who famously relies on guns to deal with his enemies. The same applies to the Duelist in Marvel Rivals, who has the Adjudication Assault Rifle as a primary weapon and the Deliverance Shotgun as the secondary one.

The Punisher is one of the most beginner-friendly Duelists in Marvel Rivals because his abilities are simple to understand. Most of them are point-and-aim guns including his Culling Turret (E) which can obliterate enemies until it either runs out of ammo or is destroyed. He also has a smoke grenade to evade opponents, making him rather independent.


4) Wolverine

Wolverine is the first close-range Duelist on this list. His primary attack, Savage Claw, requires you to be at a certain close distance to damage the opponent. Most of his abilities are easy to use and understand. His Last Stand ability basically knocks enemies into the air, dealing damage once they crash-land.

Furthermore, his Feral Leap allows him to cover great distances and the Vicious Rampage ability helps land devastating blows on enemies. Wolverine also has a passive that heals him and increases his damage. Overall, he is one of the most beginner-friendly Duelists in Marvel Rivals, and he benefits by engaging in constant skirmishes.

The fan-favorite Iron Man remains sky-bound at all times. His abilities are rather straightforward. His Repulsor Blast and Unibeam abilities are all about aiming and shooting at opponents to dish out damage. Furthermore, he can release a barrage of missiles to chip away at the enemy's health.

You can also employ Armor Overdrive to boost the damage of his primary and secondary abilities. Overall, he is incredibly mobile and easy to learn, rightfully deserving the two-star difficulty rating.

The Winter Soldier is another one of the beginner-friendly Duelists in Marvel Rivals. His primary fire is a gun that releases explosive rounds and his secondary is a hook that can reel in enemies. You can also use his Bionic Arm to essentially punch enemies and deal serious damage.

The Kraken Impact ability launches Winter Soldier upwards, dealing a lot of damage in a certain range once he lands, creating an impact. Overall, he is easy to learn and can help you make a difference in the game.


7) Scarlet Witch

The list of beginner-friendly Duelists in Marvel Rivals would remain incomplete without Scarlet Witch. She consumes Chaos Energy to deal impressive damage. Her primary fire unleashes Chaos Magic, dealing damage based on a percentage of the opponents' Max Health.

She can also fly with two different abilities, making her a rather difficult target for snipers. Her Dark Seal ability can stun enemies for a brief period, and her secondary fire unleashes explosive missiles on the opponents. She has a difficulty rating of one star which explains how easy she is to handle.
