7 biggest changes the made with the Palworld Feybreak update
1) Feybreak Island is a big new addition
Palworld Feybreak introduces the titular Feybreak Island to the map. This new Island is exponentially larger than the original Island, adding tons of new locales and Pals. This Island is Southwest on the map. You'll need a Pal with swimming abilities to swim from Fisherman's point to reach the new region.
2) Hardcore Mode is a new difficulty option
The Palworld Feybreak update adds a new difficulty option to the monster-tamer title. If you feel the need to make your Palworld run much harder, you can to play on Hardcore mode. This mode considerably ups the stakes, considering your Pals and your Characters can permanently die, creating a perfect base for Palworld Nuzlockes.
3) Expedition is a new Technology addition
Another change introduced by the Palworld Feybreak expansion is the ability to send your Pals into an expedition. This features allows for Pals to explore dungeons on their own and return back with various findings. Expeditions can be a great way for you to get Pal spheres, Pal souls, creature drops, and other items without investing your time in it, even if it makes your Pals temporarily unavailable.
4) Palworld Feybreak update expands the game's research system
The latest Palworld patch also adds major additions to the Research system. You now have the ability to carry out research projects by building a Pal Labor Research Laboratory. While doing research will require various materials and specific Pals to complete, the bonuses gained from completing these assignments will reward you will be permanent, providing an advantage to your Palworld run.
5) Random Pal Mode adds an element of luck
If you've thoroughly explored all the regions in the game and want an added element of luck, Palworld Feybreak's new addition is for you. The Random Pal Mode added in the recent patch makes it so that Pal locations are altered in the map. Thus, players will need to adapt to the newfound Pal locations to progress in their Palworld run.
6) The Palworld Feybreak update raises the Level Cap
The latest patch also introduces a welcome change of increasing the level cap to 60, so that players can level up themselves and their Pals to the maximum. This upgrade is a great change for players wanting to get stronger in the map of Palworld. While the new cap won't be a substantial change for players, it is still better than the previous cap of 50.
7) Predator Pals
Another big change the Palworld Feybreak expansion adds to the game is Predator Pals. These hostile Pals act differently from the ones found in the general surroundings. They're aggressive and skilled, making them essentially a mini boss encounter. However, defeating these enemies can also wield good rewards, as they drop predator cores useful for crating high-level gear.
