A Royal Defence challenge in Clash Royale has been underway since July 29, 2024. Players can find it in the 'Events' tab. In the initial stage of the challenge, players get unlimited tries and win shop tokens for participating. Shop tokens can be used to purchase various items from the season shop. From August 2, 2024, the event challenge will be live. To succeed in the challenge, a player has to win 12 battles, accruing no more than losses.

However, players with season passes can participate more than once if they get three losses. A specific reward will only be given once if a player participates again.

The challenge duration is from July 29 to August 6, 2024. In the first half, players will be able to enjoy the event with unlimited tries. Use it to get a feel for A Royal Defence challenge in Clash Royale. In the second half, the challenge phase will be available, with three losses allowed.

The Royal Defence challenge in Clash Royale is similar to the draft challenge. Here, players are given the option of three cards per draft. Additionally, all cards in the final draft are champions.

A maximum of 1000 season shop tokens can be acquired in a day. The cap includes the tokens won from the main Royal Defence event and classic 1v1 and 2v2 challenges.

Rewards

• For defending a tower, 50 season pass tokens are allotted. A total of 150 tokens can be won per battle.
• 1 token is given for each elixir spent.
• 100 tokens are rewarded for destroying an enemy tower. 300 tokens can be acquired this way.
• Winning a match multiplies the tokens by 1.5. For instance, if a player gets 450 tokens and wins the match, they will be rewarded 675 tokens.
• Winning the second part (August 2 to 5, 2024) of the A Royal Defence challenge in Clash Royale will reward an exclusive banner.

Tips

• Ensure that your deck has a win condition. A win condition is a card that can consistently damage the enemy crown tower. Consider adding troops like Goblin Barrell, Hog Rider, Royal Giant, etc. Having some spells that damage buildings and tank killers is also necessary.
• Try to allot your opponent the cards that you can counter with your deck. Be mindful of the card options the opponent is getting.
• From July 30 to August 1, 2024, try to battle as much as possible to try and get a good feel for speculation.
