Adam Warlock's Team-up might be God-tier in Marvel Rivals, here's why

Adam Warlock is one of the strongest Strategist class heroes in Marvel Rivals. His team-up ability, Soul Preservance can be used with either Star-Lord or Mantis and is arguably the best team-up in the game. As Marvel Rivals is quite a new game, many players are still trying to figure out all the heroes and their abilities.

Team-ups are unique abilities that can be performed between two to three heroes. Each hero has a Team-up that can only be executed with some specific heroes. As of now, there are 15 Team-up abilities in Marvel Rivals.

Why Soul Preservance is a god-tier Team-up ability in Marvel Rivals

For those unaware, Soul Preservance is a revival ability of Adam Warlock that can only be used on Star-Lord or Mantis. Although it works exactly the same for both the heroes, it is significantly more useful on Star-Lord in Marvel Rivals.

The in-game description of the Soul Preservance ability reads,

"Adam Warlock enhances the rebirth power of Star-Lord and Mantis, granting them the power of cocooned revival."

It's more useful for Star-Lord because he's one of the fastest Duelist class heroes in the game. His high-DPS weapon, combined with his rocket-propulsion ability already makes him a difficult target for the opponent. The Soul Preservance gives him the freedom to revive himself after getting killed, whenever the players want to.

Furthermore, if you think you aren't in a safe place to use this ability, the cocoon lets you reposition and then get revived, giving you a massive advantage. When used at the right time, players can easily destabilize the enemy team's back line.

As Mantis is a Strategist, she has enough abilities to protect herself and her teammates in various ways. Moreover, she is primarily a support hero who acts as the backbone of the team, engaging the least in combat. This is why Adam Warlock's Team-up doesn't have as much effect on her compared to Star-Lord.
