Death Stranding has been out for only a couple of weeks and it seems like Kojima Productions' Director Hideo Kojima has already begun giving a thought to developing a new horror game. Fans who have played horror-themed video game PT would be able to picture how the Kojima-horror combination could look like.
Post Kojima's split up with Konami, Silent Hills, a survival horror video game that marked a collaboration of the former and Guillermo del Toro featuring Norman Reedus, was cancelled. Death Stranding emerged as the first game from Kojima Productions after becoming independent, and one could speculate that the company might set their foot on horro, yet again.
Hideo Kojima's recent tweet read that he would watch scary movies to make the "scariest horror game." He mentioned that he'd watched The Eye, a Thai horror film, while making PT but it was "too scary to finish watching." Konjima then quizzed his followers if he'll be able to finish watching it this time.
Considering Kojima's history of cryptic teases in the past, one could speculate that his tweet hints at a new horror game from Konjima Productions. Although the title of their next game does not point at a horror game, fans could assume that there are fair chances for one to come by in the future.
