All weapons that feature Akimbo in Apex Legends
The Akimbo pistols in Apex Legends are not a universal feature for all weapons. It is exclusively available for two guns in the game, the P2020 and Mozambique Shotgun as per the official Apex Legends Season 22 blog.

With Akimbo, players will be able to dual-wield either gun and wreak havoc on the entire battlefield. What makes this new feature an extremely fantastic addition is that it makes two of the least-picked weapons in the game seemingly meta for the upcoming season.
How to use Akimbo in Apex Legends?
As previously mentioned, Akimbo in Apex Legends can solely be used for the P2020 and Mozambique Shotgun. To access this feature in-game, players must follow these steps:
- Players must first and foremost have either one of these weapons in their active gun slot.
- They must then proceed to find another unit of the same gun (If you have P2020, then you must find another P2020. Same goes for the Mozambique Shotgun) and proceed to interact with it.
- This will automatically enable dual-wielding in the game.
Upon following these steps, you will be able to dual-wield and use the Akimbo feature using the P2020 Pistol, or Mozambique Shotgun in Apex Legends Season 22.
All the attachments that you would have had equipped in your first weapon will automatically get mirrored for the second one. This makes the setup quite overpowered, as you can potentially run dual Legendary-tier attachments, including Hop-ups, such as the Hammerpoint Rounds.

All changes when you use Akimbo in Apex Legends
When you use the Akimbo pistols in Apex Legends, you will first see a massive increase in your weapons' magazine size. To balance this, the reload time for your Akimbo pistols has been increased.
Furthermore, when you try to aim-down-sight, you will not access the gun's optic but rather tighten the bullet spread of each weapon. Lastly, you can toggle the select fire option to transition back into the gun's single-wield variant (the second weapon will get holstered during this period).
