The wait is now over as the first of five ad-on-packs have been released for Alien: Isolation. It has been offered by Corporate Lockdown that there will be three new challenging maps added to the game’s Survivor mode. Each of the challenging packs that are offered will have a new perspective on the events that took place aboard the Sevastopol Station in the days before the Weyland-Yuntani team arrived. This add on will include a new playable character with a unique set of objectives and a new game mode.
Corporate Lockdown, will have players taking control of Seegson Executive Ransome. As he realizes that he has been abandoned by his paymasters and knowing that the Torrens are on their way, Seegson decides to make his escape and hitch a ride on board. He will also try and take some decoded Nostromo data with him. Now, as he tries to escape, he decides that he wants to tie up some loose ends before he leaves. These loose ends will take place across the three new challenge maps, ‘Severance’, ‘Scorched Earth’ and ‘Loose Ends’.
To add on to this, Players will also be allowed to challenge other players through online leader boards as they try to prove who can escape the station in the fastest possible time. They can also attain the top score by completing numerous side quests and hidden bonus objectives. Gauntlet Mode will be introduced to those new to Corporate Lockdown. Gauntlet Mode will have players completing with other players in an online leader board testing your skills as you have to complete three challenge maps back-to-back without dying.
Corporate Lockdown is available on the marketplaces for available platforms priced at $7.99. There will be four more packs including ‘Trauma’, ‘Safe Haven’, ‘Lost Contact’ and ‘The Trigger’. Each of these new packs will include a new character alongside a mix of new maps, objectives and game modes. Players will be able to experience all of this and end up getting a 25% discount by purchasing the season pass which is available now. All the add-on packs are scheduled to be released by March 2015.
