Genshin Impact's upcoming version 5.0 will introduce eight new weapons to the game, as per renowned leaker, Mero. They recently shared images showcasing the names, stats, and effects of the various additions on their Telegram channel. It seems that the Natlan update will introduce six brand-new 4-star weapons, alongside two 5-stars, meant to be Mualani and Kinich's signature weapons. Aside from one of them, others have already been shown in the 5.0 livestream.

This article lists all eight upcoming Natlan weapons in the Genshin Impact 5.0 update.

Eight new Genshin Impact 5.0 weapons leaked

Prominent leaker, Mero, has disclosed new weapons that will debut in Genshin Impact's version 5.0, alongside the Natlan region. As expected, they are themed after the Pyro nation and feature unique abilities.

Let's look at each leaked Genshin Impact weapon's stats and abilities:

1) Surf's Up

Surf's Up is a new 5-star Catalyst which will be the signature weapon of the upcoming Hydro character, Mualani. It may boast the following stats at level 90:

Base ATK542
Secondary stat88.2% Crit DMG

As for Surfing Time's passive effect, it reads:

"Max HP increased by 20%. Every 12s, the following will occur within 10s after using an Elemental Skill: Gain 4 Scorching Summer stacks. Each stack increases Normal Attack DMG by 12%. In this duration, every 1.5s: After a Normal Attack hits an opponent, remove 1 stack; once every 1.5s: After triggering a Vaporize reaction on an opponent, add 1 stack. Max 4 Scorching Summer stacks."

2) Fang of the Mountain King

Fang of the Mountain King will be the signature 5-star Claymore of the upcoming Dendro character, Kinich. Here are the weapon's stats at level 90:

Base ATK608
Secondary stat33.1 Crit Rate

The weapon also features a strong passive effect, which reads:

"Gain 1 Canopy's Favor stack after hitting an opponent with an Elemental Skill. This can be triggered once every 0.5s; After a nearby party member triggers a Burning or Burgeon reaction, the equipping character will gain 3 stacks. This effect, in turn, can be triggered once every 2s and can be triggered even when the character is off-field. Canopy's Favor: Elemental Skill and Burst DMG is increased by 10% for 6s. Max 6 stacks. Each stack is counted independently."

3) Chain Breaker

Chain Breaker will be a new 4-star Bow from the Natlan region. It may have the following stats at level 90, according to the leaks from Mero:

Base ATK565
Secondary stat27.6% ATK

The Bow seems to be capable of buffing the user's attack significantly with its passive effect which reads:

"For every party member from Natlan or who has a different Elemental Type from the equipping character, the equipping character gains 4.8% increased ATK. When there are no less than 3 of the aforementioned characters, the equipping character gains 24 Elemental Mastery."

4) Flute of Ezpitzal

Flute of Ezpitzal is indicated to be a new 4-star Sword from the Natlan region. It features a very unique design and boasts the following stats at level 90:

Base ATK454
Secondary stat69% DEF

If true, it would be the first Genshin Impact Defense stat sword in a long time. Its passive effect reads:

"Increases this character's DEF by 16% for 10s when using an Elemental Skill."

5) Earth Shaker

Earth Shaker is expected to be a brand-new 4-star Claymore from the Natlan weapon series. Let's look at its leaked stats at level 90:

It seems the weapon will favor team comps that include a Pyro character, thanks to its passive which reads:

"When a party member triggers a Pyro-related reaction, the equipping character's Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 16% for 8s."

6) Footprint of the Rainbow

Footprint of the Rainbow is an upcoming 4-star Polearm that may provide Defense. It is likely to have the following stats at level 90:

Base ATK510
Secondary stat51.7% DEF

It is expected to share the same passive effect as Flute of Ezpitzal, which reads:

"Increases this character's DEF by 16% for 10s when using an Elemental Skill."

7) Ring of Yaxche

Ring of Yaxche is an upcoming 4-star Catalyst from the Natlan weapon series with the following stats at level 90:

Base ATK510
Secondary stat41.3% HP

Unlike other 4-star weapons, it appears the Catalyst may favor HP-scaling characters. Its leaked passive reads:

"Gain the Jade-Forged Crown effect when using an Elemental Skill: Every 1,000 Max HP will increase the equipping character's Normal Attack DMG by 0.5% for 10s. Normal Attack DMG can be increased this way by a maximum of 16%."

8) Ash-Graven Drinking Horn

Apart from the above-mentioned weapons, Mero has also leaked another 4-star Catalyst for the upcoming update. It's possible that Ash-Graven Drinking Horn may be the free event weapon for Genshin Impact version 5.0.

It is expected to have the following stats at level 90:

Base ATK510
Secondary stat41.3% HP

Additionally, its passive effect reads:

"When an attack hits an opponent, deal 40% of Max HP as AoE DMG at the target location. This effect can be triggered once every 15s."
