Genshin Impact players can participate in a mini-game called In Truth's Steps, which is part of the ongoing main event titled A Parade of Providence. In this mini-game, an NPC named Bahar will narrate a few stories and ask players to find out the full truth of the story. To solve this mystery, players must carefully analyze the narratives and correctly answer all the questions. They can ask Bahar a few questions of their own to get some clues.

Players will receive 90 Primogems and other in-game rewards by completing all three parts of In Truth's Steps.

How to complete Genshin Impact In Truth's Steps

Part I

Part I of In Truth's Steps tells a story about a Forest Ranger named Asti and his partner, Beydim, who are patrolling the Avidya Forest during a rainstorm. At the end of the story, only Beydim ends up getting all wet. To complete the challenge, you must figure out Beydim's true identity and why they got wet.

The duo spotted some monsters while patrolling Avidya Forest during a rainstorm. Asti then sent Beydim to the other Ranger group that was also surveying the forest to inform them. Thus, Beydim flew through the storm without a waterproof great and got all wet.

The second part of In Truth's Steps is a story about an Akademiya student named Bahera and his mentor. Bahera went on a trip for his research and mistakenly took an item that belongs to his master with him. While Bahera sent the item back to Akademiya, he still ended up getting scolded. For this puzzle, you must figure out why was his mentor angry, what that item is, and where it is now.

• The Darshan staff member who was in charge of passing on the letter.

The full truth of this story is that Bahera went on a trip for his research and accidentally brought his mentor's office keys with him. Upon the mentor's request, Bahera sent the keys back to Akademiya via mail, and the Darshan staff member dropped the letter off at the letter slot of the mentor's office.

The mentor did not receive his keys since they, along with the letter, are now stuck inside the locked office.

The final story of In Truth's Steps is about the Wisdom Gala, which took place in Sumeru. The Akademiya granted a leave permit for a three-day vacation to everyone who participated in the gala, but there is still one permit left inside the box and you must figure out why.
