All bosses in Astro Bot

Within a few days of its release, Team Asobi's Astro Bot is being touted as the best PlayStation 5 title of 2024. The game whisks you through five beautiful worlds, consisting of masterfully designed stages. As you progress in-game, you must collect various bots and puzzle pieces before venturing into each world.

While the game is simple and fun, there are a few instances that can leave you scratching your head. The game consists of seven boss fights, that would feel fairly simple to most gamers. Here is a list of all the bosses in Astro Bot.

All Astro Bot boss fights

1) Mighty Chewy

As you finish the first world of the game Gorilla Nebula, you will encounter Mighty Chewy. Inspired by King Kong, Mighty Chewy throws buildings at Astro Bot alongside aggressive attacks. If you use your bulldog dash powers wisely, defeating him shouldn't be a challenge.

To escape his attacks, you can go through the breakable glasses on buildings as well as holes. To knock him out, wait for the bell to turn red after he attempts the Bell Slam. Once he is knocked out, attack his eyes, followed by his teeth. Once he is lying with his mouth wide open, attack the golden button in his mouth to finally defeat him.

2) Wako Tako

The second boss fight of Astro Bot will pit you against Wako Tako, an octopus located in the Tentacle System. Using the Frog Gloves for this stage, players will get into a sort of boxing match as Wako Tako also wears boxing gloves. They first need to fight against the mini version of Wako Tako before knocking out the boss himself.

After rescuing 60 bots, you will finally unlock Wako Tako's location. After Wako Tako attacks you with his tentacles, target his gloves twice to knock him out. Using your frog gloves, pull his tentacles to defeat him.

3) Lady Venomara

Serpent Starway, which is the third world of the game features Lady Venomara. Using your chicken jump ability to its full potential will help you beat this boss in no time. Featuring one of the widest ranges of attacks in the game, Venomara will be a tough opponent to beat.

After rescuing 100 bots, you can unlock Lady Venomara's location. After completing the rest of the stage, you will finally fight her. Avoid touching the purple eggs this boss throws at you while closing the gap. Attack Venomara's chin to finally defeat her.

4) Mecha Leon

Mecha Leon is a monstrous chameleon that will force you to use your slo-mo watch due to its high-speed attacks. Astro Bot must equip various power-ups to defeat bosses. This prevents combat from becoming repetitive and boring.

After successfully rescuing 100 bots, while fighting against Mecha Leon, try to stay in the middle of the platform. Once the giant chameleon uses its tongue attack, attack its uvula to complete the stage.

5) Falcon McFly

At the end of the fifth world, you will encounter Falcon McFly. However, surprisingly, this boss doesn't pose too much of a challenge. Use the samurai rolling ability to defeat this boss. As a consequence, the combat in this stage might feel repetitive.

Before defeating the Falcon McFly, you must collect 200 bots in order to find Falcon McFly's location in the galaxy. Be mindful of its beak attack, and target its helmet. After successfully destroying Falcon McFly's helmet, you will notice a bump on its head. Attack this bump to defeat the boss.

Final boss fight- Space Bully Nebulax

Once you get to this stage, you might feel that the journey was a lot more fun than the destination. The final boss fight was hyped up throughout the game. However, the fight can feel a little dull. Use multiple power-ups in this fight, as all Nebulax does is spin a wheel when it comes to attacking.

You must first complete all the missions available on all planets in order to fight Nebulax. Now, head back to the Crash Site and press the large red button to start the battle. Keep attacking the spaceship frequently to ultimately send back the spaceship and end the fight.
