Greek mythology references behind all the Amphoreus Chrysos Heirs in Honkai Star Rail
All the new characters teased for the upcoming region of Amphoreus have references to Greek mythology. Interestingly, the term 'Amphoreus' itself is a Greek word that stands for a certain unit of liquid measurement. Thus it makes sense that a planet named after a Greek word would obviously have a lot of Greek references.

The following are the names and Greek mythology references of the eight currently introduced Chrysos Heirs:
1) Aglaea
Aglaea's drip marketing introduced her as the 'Weaver of Gold', who bears the "Coreflame of Romance". In Greek mythology, Aglaea is one of the three Charites/Graces, and the daughter of Zeus.
It might be this connection to Zeus that gives her the element of Lightning that she wields. As for the 'weaver' part of her title, it might stem from the fact that Aglaea the Charite once helped the Greek goddess Aphrodite in weaving yarn.
2) Tribbie
Tribbie is described as the "three-faced messenger traversing through myriad doors". While Tribbie doesn't have a direct reference to any Greek god, she might have been based on the Greek god Hermes, a herald known for being a messenger among the Greek gods. Similarly, Tribbie has also been described as the one who "bears tidings from hundreds of worlds".
3) Anaxa
Anaxa, or 'Anaxagoras', as he is described in the Amphoreus trailer, is a reference to the Greek philosopher Anaxagoras. In Greek mythology, Anaxagoras was exiled from Athens owing to his sacrilegious claim of the Sun being nothing more than a flaming piece of rock. The Chrysos Heir Anaxa is similarly described as having "enough knowledge to refute faith, and to stir up a torrent capable of slaying gods".
4) Hyacine
Hyacine is introduced as the "priest who severs dawn from dusk" and the one who "rebuilds the mystical realm". Her name might be referring to the flower Hyacinth (scientific name Hyacinthus), which symbolizes themes such as rebirth and regeneration.
Interestingly, the flower Hyacinth derives its name from the Greek hero Hyacinthus, from whose lifeless blood the Greek god Apollo created a flower and named it the Hyacinth. Hyacinthus was resurrected by Apollo later on, thus reaffirming the rebirth symbolism possibly referenced by Hyacine's name.
5) Mydei
Mydei is described as "Mydeimos the Undying" in the Amphoreus' Saga of Heroes trailer. In Greek mythology, Deimos is the god of terror -- the personification of the feeling of terror that soldiers experienced in battle. The Chrysos Heir Mydei is also visualized as fighting on the battlefield, "bathing in blood for the rightful crown".
6) Cipher
Cipher, or Cifera the Fleet-Footed (as she is described) is a cat-like character with cat ears and a tail. She is said to "vault over time's lies" and can "command frozen time to flow once again". Cipher is the only character for whom no direct reference can be found in Greek mythology, as even her name is taken from a Latin word (Cifera, meaning cipher) and not a Greek one.
7) Castorice
Castorice is introduced as the daughter of the River Styx. In Greek mythology, Styx is a river that can be found in the underworld, which separates the land of the living from the land of the dead. This implies that Chrysos Heir Castorice has some connection with death, as described by the line "even frozen death will sleep peacefully at her fingertips" in the Amphoreus' Saga of Heroes trailer.

8) Phainon
Phainon is one of the two Honkai Impact 3rd expy characters who will be crossing over to Honkai Star Rail. He is said to be a hero, who "engraves the marks of eternity". His name might be a reference to the ancient Greek god Phaenon, whose name stood for "shining/being bright".
The fact that the Chrysos Heir Phainon is described as "the nameless new king who ascends the throne to embark on the grand mission of deliverance" might allude to Phaenon and the meaning of his name.
