Districts can be considered the production hub of the city and provide the materials required to sustain and expand civilization in the post-apocalyptic frostland.

How to build districts in Frostpunk 2
You can build districts in Frostpunk 2 from the district construction menu which you can find at the bottom-right section of your on-screen HUD. Select the menu to open up the list of districts and choose the one you require.
It is important to note that before you can place a district around the city, you must remove the hardened ice on the ground using Frostbreaking, a popular feature from Frostpunk 1. Select the Frostbreaking tool from the bottom-right section of your on-screen HUD and choose the area in which you wish to place your districts.
