All Dragon Age the Veilguard choices that carry over from Inquisition

Dragon Age The Veilguard allows you to retain a total of three key choices from Inquisition. As DA Inquisition was released almost 10 years ago, there's no direct way of importing your choices to The Veilguard, but you can choose some of the decisions you made back in the day. These will come into play later in the game when you meet The Inquisitor.

What choices carry overs from Inquisition to Dragon Age The Veilguard

Dragon Age The Veilguard lets you create the Inquisitor, the previous game's protagonist alongside your main character, Rook. Besides being able to choose a new look for the Inquisitor, you can select three choices that determine the events of the third game.

Here are the three choices from Inquisition that come into play in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

Friendship and Romance

The first thing the game will ask you will be about your choice of partner. You can select among the following characters based on whom you chose to romance in the previous game.

• Cassandra Pentaghast: Male Inquisitor only
• Dorian Pavus: Male Inquisitor only
• Blackwell: Female Inquisitor only
• Sera: Female Inquisitor only
• Iron Bull: Both genders
• Josephine Montiliyet: Both Genders
• Cullen Rutherford: Human and elven female Inquisitor only
• Solas: Elven female Inquisitor only

The Fate of the Inquisition

You can also choose what happens to your jolly band of Inquisition after the events of the third game. Whether you disband it so cannot be corrupted or allow the Orlesian Chantry to control it will be left up to you in this choice.

The Hidden God

The final choice is tied to the Trespasser DLC of the third game. At the very end of the DLC, it will be revealed that your friend Solas is actually the elven god, Fen'Harel or Dreadwolf. You can either vow to stop him at all costs or save him from himself.

Can you directly import Dragon Age Inquisition's save file to The Veilguard?

Unfortunately, you cannot load your previous save file into Dragon Age The Veilguard. You can select among the three choices as mentioned above, but cannot import the save files.

Given The Veilguard came out a decade after the third game's release, many players won't have access to its save files. So BioWare has instead opted to make a system where you can make the choices based on those you made in the previous entry.
