The EA FC 24 FUTTIES Week 5 players have been added to Ultimate Team, with the likes of David Beckham and Heung Min Son leading the way as the headliners. This lineup of special cards has delivered on the hype yet again, bringing the promo to a close with a star-studded roster featuring the most 99-rated cards out of any promo squad released so far in the game cycle.

The first four weeks of the FUTTIES promo have already released several 99-rated items, with Week 4 adding three new 99-rated items to the game. However, the FUTTIES Week 5 players lineup has outdone its predecessors by including four new 99-rated players, with multiple 98s in tow as well. This will make pack openings extremely exciting over the course of the week.

With massive names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Pele and others already receiving 99-rated cards during past weeks of the FUTTIES event, expectations were high from the final week of the promo. EA Sports has managed to live up to the hype with the EA FC 24 FUTTIES Week 5 players, releasing a lineup containing fan favorites and providing them with massive boosts.

Similar to previous weeks, the roster includes both current-gen athletes and legends of the sport in the form of Icons and Heroes. While there are some lower-tier players at the bottom of the list, most of the superstars included in the squad have the stats and PlayStyles required to be elite-tier in the current meta of the game.

Out of the four 99-rated cards, Heung Min Son and Lucio have the potential to be the best players in their respective positions. Similarly, the likes of N'Golo Kante, Christopher Nkunku, Marcos Llorente, and Adama Traore have also made a name for themselves with their overpowered versions in Ultimate Team over the years, and their latest special items have the potential to be elite-tier as well.
