Final Fantasy 16 became one of the most successful entries last year after it was released on PlayStation, and the PC port has given us a chance to talk about the title again. The game features a variety of boss fights against creatures known as Eikons. Every Eikon is unique because of the abilities they possess.

Defeating them grants you their power, such as controlling ice and fire, making you more powerful in the process. This article ranks all the Eikons in Final Fantasy 16 from worst to best.

In Final Fantasy 16, Garuda's power to manipulate wind makes her a difficult foe to defeat in aerial combat. However, her powers lack the element of destruction present in other Eikons, making her abilities less reliable.

Her powers look beautiful when in effect but fail to cause any real damage when players enter a large-scale battle.

7) Titan

Titan possesses incredible strength which is not present in any other Eikon. His earth-based abilities make him a powerhouse in the arena and the strongest Eikon to withstand enemy hits.

However, his huge size makes him slow compared to other Eikons as he tries to stand his ground by heavily relying on his brute force. This leaves him defenseless and open to enemy attacks, making him a liability on the battlefield.

6) Shiva

Shiva has ice-based powers that help her in tactical play during combat. She has the power to stop her enemy's movements by freezing them or slowing them down to keep them at a distance.

Her ice-based abilities help control hordes of enemies by stopping them in their tracks, but these powers lack destruction. She can provide excellent support to other Eikons on the battlefield if paired with someone who relies on brute force.

5) Phoenix

Phoenix is a crucial part of Final Fantasy 16 thanks to his abilities centered around fire. His fire-based attacks can create rings of fire around foes, call for fiery wings to strike enemies in aerial combat, and fire flame-based projectiles.

His powers on the battlefield make him an important Eikon, as he is balanced perfectly on both the offense and defense sides. However, he is overshadowed by other Eikons when it comes to having brute force, as that ability is not his forte.

4) Ramuh

Ramuh possesses the ability to manipulate lightning according to his will, resulting in destructive ranged attacks. This ability aids him in slowing down the enemies by paralyzing them with lightning making him a strong Eikon.

Ramuh can summon thunderstorms, use his staff to deal electric damage to his enemies and strike them with ball lightning. Since his long-ranged strikes are precise, battles requiring brute force are not his strong suit.

3) Odin

Odin's Zantetsuken and dark powers make him a tough Eikon on the battlefield in Final Fantasy 16. His attacks are fast-paced and precise meaning he rarely misses what he is aiming for.

However, his focus on precision attacks leaves him open to attack in situations where brute force does the job. His dark powers are also vulnerable to light, making him an easy target for enemies.

2) Ifrit

Ifrit is an Eikon with unimaginable destructive abilities that revolve around raw rage. It derives its powers from fire, which becomes extra destructive when merged with Clive's abilities in Final Fantasy 16's narrative.

Since Clive cannot tame Ifrit, it makes it an uncontrollable Eikon to deal with. Its destructive nature can't always be the solution as brute force is not always the answer on the battlefield.

1) Bahamut

Bahamut is an Eikon with light abilities and destructive powers that can clear an entire battlefield. His powers are not just limited to cutscenes making him a huge threat during gameplay as well, thanks to his light-based attacks which include summoning a few light balls, beams of light, and flare breath.

Bahamut is easily the strongest Eikon in Final Fantasy 16, with air dominance not seen in others. His only drawback is that his abilities are too powerful to control, which harms Dion's well-being.
