All endings in Stalker 2 and how to get them

There are multiple endings in Stalker 2, with each of them opening a new path towards the Zone’s future. Unlike the first game where how you have behaved throughout the game affects the ending you get, in Stalker 2, the ending mainly depends on the choices you make during the Subtle Matter, Dangerous Liaisons, and The Last Wish as well as your standing with the game’s different factions.

How to get all the endings in Stalker 2

Strelok ending: “She Will Never Be Free”

In this ending, Strelok takes control of the Zone and solidifies his power.

Key Choices:

Subtle Matter (Orbita Station):

• When Scar catches you using the visiograph, choose "Life is for the living".
• This locks you out of the Spark ending.

Dangerous Liaisons (Captured by Korshunov):

• Choose "Escape" to reject siding with Korshunov and the Ward.
• Avoid "I'm not your enemy", as it triggers the Ward ending.

The Last Wish (Confrontation with the Doctor in Red Forest):

• Choose "[Fire]" to kill the Doctor and confirm the Strelok ending.

Ward ending: “Brave New World”

In this ending, the Ward faction succeeds in destroying the Zone.

Key Choices:

Subtle Matter (Orbita Station):

• Choose "Life is for the living" to continue the path toward the Ward or Strelok endings.
• Avoid "Eternal spring", which leads to the Spark route.

Dangerous Liaisons (Captured by Korshunov):

• Choose "I'm not your enemy" to side with the Ward.
• This aligns you with Korshunov and ensures the Ward ending.

Even if you previously aligned with Noontide or Spark in earlier missions, Korshunov will trust you if you choose to kill Doctor Faust.

Kaimanov ending: “Project Y”

This ending sees Kaimanov fulfill his vision for Project Y, shaping the Zone’s future.

Key Choices:

Subtle Matter (Orbita Station):

• Choose "Life is for the living" when confronted by Scar.
• This avoids the Spark path.

Dangerous Liaisons (Captured by Korshunov):

• Choose "Escape" to get away from the Ward.

The Last Wish (Confrontation with the Doctor in Red Forest):

• Choose "[Lower the gun]" to spare the Doctor and confirm the Kaimanov ending.

To get this ending, you will need to make choices that are aligned with Strelok during your campaign and spare the doctor in the Red Forest.

Spark ending: “Today Never Ends”

If this is the ending you choose, you will see Scar aligning with the Spark faction and pursuing his vision of the Shining.

Key Choices:

Subtle Matter (Orbita Station):

• Choose "Eternal spring" when confronted by Scar.
• This sets the Spark route and aligns you with Scar’s goals.

Dangerous Liaisons (Captured by Korshunov):

• Choose "Escape" to avoid alignment with the Ward.

While playing Subtle Matter, Dangerous Liaisons, and The Last Wish, ensure that you make a dedicated save file during each of the missions so you can explore the different choices and endings without needing to play the game from start to finish repeatedly.
