All Epic Games Store Holiday 2024 free games and how to claim them

The Epic Games Store Holiday 2024 giveaway has started, bringing a festive touch to your gaming library. Like every year, Epic Games will host an annual giveaway for the holiday season, bringing new free titles that you will be able to claim permanently. From AAA to indie, the storefront will host a ton of free games that will be revealed each week throughout the festive season.

This article will cover all the free games offered in the Epic Games Store Holiday 2024 giveaway, and how you can claim them and add them to your library.

All free games for Epic Games Store Holiday 2024 giveaway

1) The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria (December 12 - December 19)

Starting from December 12, you will be able to add this adventure set in Tolkier's Lord of the Rings universe. It is a survival crafting game that sees you embark into the depths to reclaim the Dwarven homeland of Moria. Besides claiming Return to Moria for free, you will also be able to claim the latest Yule-tide DLC, which adds a new festive-themed touch to your adventure in the mines of Moria.

This will be available for free till December 19, when the next game will be revealed. Ensure that you claim the game before the expiry date, as it will revert to its original price right after the scheduled period.

2) Vampire Survivors (December 19 - December 20)

The second game in the EGS giveaway is Vampire Survivors. This indie roguelite allows you to face and dominate the forces of the night. From December 19, 2024, you can claim and keep Vampire Survivors in your Epic Games Library. However, you have to be quick, as it will be removed from the free games rotation after 24 hours at 12:00 am on December 20, 2024.

3) Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles (December 20 - December 21)

The DICE-deck-building roguelike, Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles is the newest holiday present from the Epic Games Store. From midnight on December 20, 2024, this game can be permanently added to your library. However, you must claim it within the next 24 hours. After that, a new game will be unveiled, and Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles will no longer be free.

Claiming these free titles on offer is quite easy. Follow the steps down below to add them to your library.

• Simply head to the title's page on either the EGS website or the application.
• You will notice a -100% discount notice above the GET button.
• Click on this button and then click on the Place Order option.

With that, the games will be yours to keep forever. Don't worry as you will not be charged for them, or need to add any payment information. You will also receive a notification alerting you that the game has been added to your library and is ready to be downloaded.

Similar to last year's EGS Holiday Giveaway, the free games on offer during the Epic Games Store Holiday 2024 celebrations will also reveal the mystery games each Thursday at 8 a.m. PT or 11 a.m. ET.
