Fast travel is a traversal mechanic in Stalker 2. It enables players to teleport from one region of the map to another in an instant. While it is the first time that the mechanic has been added to the game, fans of the series need not worry about teleportation mechanics trivializing the gritty, grounded and immersive experience of the game. The mechanic is extremely rigid, requires a lot of money and is limited to specific locations.
While it can trivialize traveling, it can still be an incredibly helpful mechanic. Here is a walkthrough on fast travel and all the different checkpoints that support it

The ability to quickly travel between regions is introduced mid-game, when you find out about the first two major settlements, Zalissya and Slag Heap. After discovering the second settlement, the option to teleport between them will be available.
You can teleport between regions by talking to particular NPCs called guides. They'll be marked with a crosshair on the map. Speak with them to teleport between other available checkpoints.
Here are the various locations that support fast travel, along with their respective guides:
Fast travel can be extremely unfavorable
Do note that the fast travel mechanic is bare-bones in Stalker 2, with intention. Due to its uncompromising approach to gameplay, the quick teleport mechanic will only be available for players who have already come across the two settlements they want to jump between.
Players can't teleport to any place they want, they'll only be taken to the location of the respective settlement's guide. The biggest hurdle in quick traversal is the exponential amount of cash required every time you use it to travel between settlements.
It can start with an eye-watering 1000+ coupons, and will only grow costlier as the main quest progresses. Players should only use this mechanic as a last resort.
You can lose access to fast travel checkpoints
Another wrench that GSC Game World can put into the mix to make fast travel a grounded mechanic is its perishable nature. As opposed to other mainstream games, you can lose access to quick travel checkpoints in the game. For example, if you progress through the main campaign, during this midpoint, two settlements will become unusable, namely (spoilers ahead) the Lesser Zone and Wild Islands.
There can also be times when guide locations are locked. This means that while you could travel to that location, you literally couldn't come out of it.
As such, it is recommended that you move out of a particular region in Stalker 2, and only do so after thoroughly exploring the previous region.
