All Fursome Four locations in Cat Quest 3

Cat Quest 3 is full of NPC side quests featuring some of the most unique puzzles and challenges that'll adorn your pirate journey. Completing these quests provides enticing rewards while also adding depth to the world and its inhabitants. The Foursome Four is a side quest given by the Grumpy Fishercat who tasks you with catching four legendary fish from to prove yourself worthy of a a special weapon.

This quest can be challenging as it requires you to scour every inch of the ocean just to coax the legendary fish into nets. Hence, this guide will provide you will all the information you need to find the legendary fish and complete the Fursome Four quest in Cat Quest 3.

How to find the Fursome Four in Cat Quest 3

To complete the Fursome Four Quest, you need to catch four legendary fish: Rock Catfish, Lover Catfish, Sunset Catfish, and Ghost Catfish. Here’s how you can catch each of them:

1) Rock Catfish

The Rock Catfish is the easiest of the four legendary fish to find in Cat Quest 3. You can locate it by heading to the western area of Purrvana Plains near the spike hazards. Take the boat or the floating tube to approach the fish and chase it around the spike hazards to capture it.

2) Lover Catfish

If you follow the main storyline, the next fursome four your encounter will be the Lover Catfish. It is located on the 'U' shaped island on the south of Lovepurr Castle.

Once you get there, you will be greeted by enemy ships that you need to take out. Then, blast the barrier to open the channel containing the Lover Catfish. Unlike the Rock Catfish, this one will follow you, so you simply need to steer it back to the nearby fishnet.

3) Sunset Catfish

The third catfish can be located in the northwest portion of the map in between the many beaches in the area. Take out the enemies in the area beforehand to guide the fish into the net easily.

You can find the Sunset Catfish swimming a bit to the south of the fishnet. The path is straightforward but the fish moves erratically, making it quite a challenge to nudge it back into the net.

4) Ghost Catfish

Ghost Catfish is the last of the Fursome Four in Cat Quest 3. You can locate this fish by heading to the Furrgy Island in the southwest part of the map. Once there, you'll find your target in the middle of the spiral pattern with high-level enemies surrounding it. Defeat the enemies to make your task easier, or use the floating tube to dodge projectiles and chase the fish into the net.

Once you have captured the four legendary fish, return to Grumpy Fishercat to receive The Son’s Rod. It is a high-damaging grenade launcher that you can equip as a ranged weapon.
