Domination is one of the game modes in XDefiant where the goal of the players is to control zones to rack up points. In this mode, players need to capture three static zones on the map, and the team who holds up a certain zone gets a ticking point. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins the game.
2) Occupy (Arena)
Similar to the Domination mode, the team that earns the most points by capturing zones wins the Occupy game mode. However, instead of three static points on the map, a single capture zone is given which changes position every round. This means that players are constantly moving around the map to capture or defend the moving zone.
3) Hot Shot (Arena)
Hot Shot is one of the Arena game modes in XDefiant. In this game mode, eliminated players drop tags on the ground which can be collected to earn points for a player's team. The more tags you collect, the faster you get. The player with the most tags collected is declared Hot Shot and is marked on the map, visible to everyone.
The team that gets the highest score wins the game.
4) Escort (Linear)
One of the most popular FPS game modes is coming to XDefiant. In the Escort mode, players need to escort a payload to a delivery point or defend it from the attackers and opponents.
Depending on your team's position, you should either escort the payload safely to the other point or defend the point by attacking the payload escorts.
5) Zone Control
Zone Control is among the game modes in XDefiant where players need to attack or defend zones. In this mode, attackers need to capture all five zones on the map while defenders push back to reclaim these zones. Once a zone is reclaimed, attackers need to capture it again.
The team with the most zones captured wins the game.
