There are six Precious Chests in the Broken Sea sub-area of Genshin Impact's Simulanka, a limited-time region in Version 4.8. Players can obtain them by completing puzzles such as helping toy NPCs, restoring building blocks, and more. While most are fairly easy to do, some can be tricky and hard to find.

Below is a detailed guide to acquiring all Precious Chests in the Broken Sea.

Precious Chest #1

The first Precious Chest requires you to save three mining squirrels scattered around the easternmost island. To save them, you must complete a set of puzzles.

The first puzzle involves rearranging some pipes to allow the magic tonic to drop into the barrel. The second one can be found in front of a house with two toys. It tasks you with defeating a Pyro Slime before acquiring a toy bomb to break open a large block. The final puzzle, found below the island, requires you to put the correct blocks to complete the design of two fishes.

Once you finish all three puzzles and interact with the mining squirrels, return to the center of the area to obtain this Precious Chest.

Precious Chest #2

The second Precious Chest is found in the middle right island of the Broken Seas. Approach the area to find a sign and three colored blocks. Read the sign to understand the puzzle.

To complete the puzzle, you must put the colored blocks in their respective stacks. While you can easily put the brown and yellow blocks in the correct stacks, you have to put the red block on a pedestal before lighting it on fire with a Pyro character. After it turns black, take it and put it on the stack of black blocks to get the Precious Chest.

Precious Chest #3

Continue exploring the middle right island by dropping down. You will stumble upon a small crater with a golden patch inside it. Interact with the patch to make a flying cube appear. Follow its trail until it stops to acquire a Precious Chest.

Precious Chest #4

Go back to the first island in the Broken Sea. Explore the area to find a hole that leads to a deeper area. Once you enter this area, use a toy bomb to destroy portions of the wall blocking your route. Head deeper to find a bunch of Hilichurls and Slimes causing trouble. Defeat them to get a Precious Chest.

Precious Chest #5

Go to the westernmost island in the Broken Seas. You have to find four origami flowers that create wind currents. Three of them are scattered in different parts of this small island.

Find the first one by dropping down from the ladder on the left. The second one can be found in a small patch of greenery surrounded by flowers. You have to collect all the flowers surrounding the origami flower. However, two of them are Whopperflowers that you must defeat. Once you do this, you can collect the origami flower.

The final origami flower can be found above the small safe haven. After putting all four origami flowers in their positions, the Precious Chest will be unlocked.

Precious Chest #6

The final Precious Chest in the Broken Sea can be found on the northernmost island, which also houses a Luxurious Chest. Approach the star on the right side of the island. Follow it till it transforms into a pedestal that allows you to ride the magical thread. Continue riding the thread and it will automatically lead you to the Precious Chest.
