Reasons to unlock different brooms
Each broom in the game has three parameters on which its stats are determined. These are Speed, Agility, and Durability. The game also allows players to pick different roles in-game: Seekers, Keepers, Beaters, and Chasers. With each role having its unique characteristics and needs, certain brooms might be better suited to a particular role than others.
For Chasers, though agility and durability are important, the primary stat to focus on would be Speed. Similarly, for Beaters, a broom with higher durability would be more desirable given the nature of its role. A Seeker would require increased agility stats to outmaneuver the opponent team's Beaters and Chasers, which may call for an all-rounder broom.
Lastly, a Keeper would need an agile and durable broom instead of focusing on speed, given their role requires them to stay near the goalpost for the entire match. Alternatively, players can also opt to choose an all-rounded broom, which can be useful in almost every role on the Quidditch pitch.
