2) The Crossroads

Once a sanctuary for those souls affected by Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain's prosecution, The Crossroads is the gateway connecting the Fade with Thedas. With the gods running free due to your actions during Solas' ritual, this area has been overrun by the Blight.

The Caretaker will task you with clearing the Blight from the Crossroads and starting the Heart of Corruption quest. You can also learn more about Solas' past and his rebellion against the Elven gods here. The Crossroads is divided into three islands containing various Eluvian mirrors that will take you around northern Thedas.

Once the crown jewel of the Elven empire, the city of Arlathan is nothing more than ruins of the civilization. The Arlathan Forest is home to the Veil Jumpers who excavate the various ruins and tombs to uncover Artifacts before they can cause significant harm to others.

4) Minrathous - Dock Town

Minrathous is the heart of the Tevinter Imperium, with the Archon's Palace maintaining order in the city. While you will visit part of the city during the prologue, your adventure will take place in the Dock Town region of the city. Home mostly to the poorest souls in Minrathous, Dock Town is a bustling hub full of opportunities and scandals.

The Shadow Dragons resistance group maintains order for the most part in this area. Led by the Viper, the Shadow Dragons oppose both the ruling class and the Venatori for their abhorrent use of Blood Magic to spread corruption and fear in Minrathous.

Treviso is a proud merchant city of the Principality of Antiva and the main base of operations for the group of assassins known as the Antivan Crows. The Crows have operated in the city for decades and have an undying faith and love for their homeland.

Treviso's trading system is supported by the various canals that allow merchants to move their goods easily throughout the city, making it one of the richest places in Thedas. The Dellamorte family serves as the backbone of the Crows in Treviso, and one of them, Lucanis, will join your party.

6) The Grand Necropolis

The Grand Necropolis is a giant Mausoleum in Nevarra from where the Mourn Watch Mages like Emmrich Volkarin reside and carry out their study of the undead. Housing thousands of dead bodies, the crypts are full of ancient magic that the necromancers carefully manipulate.

But be careful, as not all undead residing in the Necropolis are friendly. Some crypts will be full of skeletons, spirits, and monsters, ready to attack and kill you.
