CD Projekt Red kicked off the night with a cinematic trailer for The Witcher 4 at The Game Awards 2024, showing off Ciri as the new protagonist in a mature, open-world RPG. No release date yet, but fans were treated to a stunning Unreal Engine 5-powered trailer that promises an unforgettable single-player experience.

Elden Ring: Nightreign - A Co-op title

FromSoftware’s surprise announcement was Elden Ring: Nightreign at The Game Awards 2024, a standalone co-op title set in a world parallel to Elden Ring. Players will explore a condensed map of Limveld and face off against random enemies, with up to two friends joining in the adventure. Expect this game in 2025 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.


Mafia: The Old Country Debuts at TGA 2024

Set in the fictional coastal town of San Celeste, Mafia: The Old Country takes us back to the early 1900s in Sicily, delving into the origins of organized crime in the light of the Cosa Nostra family. The Game Awards 2024 gave us a first glimpse of the game, showing us the new protagonist — Enzo Favara, a man embarking on an adventure that would change his life forever as he steps into the world of the mob.

The game promises to mix historical elements with the franchise's signature action, offering a fresh but familiar experience for fans. Mafia: The Old Country is set to release in the summer of 2025.

Onimusha’s Revival

Capcom thrilled fans with the reveal of a new Onimusha title, marking a triumphant return for the samurai action series.
