Major Bloodhound, Havoc AR, and Attachment changes are scheduled to be released with the Apex Legends mid-season patch in Season 21

The developers are bringing several changes into the game with the Apex Legends mid-season patch in Season 21. While some are minor changes, some are quite eye-catching and could end up changing the current meta of the title. All the major Legends and weapon changes are detailed in the following section:

All major Legend changes that will be released with the Apex Legends mid-season patch in Season 21, Upheaval

  • Bangalore’s Smoke will now grant a white highlight of the player inside it to all players in a 20-meter radius.
  • Bloodhound can no longer see through smoke and Caustic gas.
  • Bloodhound’s level 2 Evo Perk Raven’s Blessing will now grant a 20% Ultimate charge instead of 25%.

Bloodhound’s level 3 Evo Perks have been completely reworked. The new perks are as follows:

All major Weapon and Attachment Changes that will be released with the Apex Legends mid-season patch in Season 21, Upheaval

  • Havoc Rifle: Bullet capacity from all magazine attachments has been reduced by four. This nerf was quite foreseeable since Havoc has been one of the go-to weapons to pick up while playing either pubs or Ranked matches.
  • R-99: The hip fire recoil randomness has been buffed. This allows the weapon to perform better in close-range combat when the enemy is too close to ADS. Since the ARs have been dominating the meta, the developers are trying to buff the SMG to make sure there are multiple good choices except for the meta weapons.
  • 4x-10x Digital Threat Scope: Can no longer scan through Caustic gas and Smoke. This is also an interesting change and quite predictable since the removal of 1x Digital Threat from the game.

This sums up the major changes coming with the Apex Legends mid-season patch in Season 21.
