All new Battle Mods in Squad Busters August 2024 update explained

Supercell has introduced three new Battle Mods in Squad Busters with the August 2024 update: Crystal Forest, Timeout, and Hatchling Herder. Three new Battle Mods have been added with the recent Squad Busters August 2024 update on August 14, 2024. Read on for further details.

Crystal Forest

The Crystal Forest Battle Mod will give you a huge Greg. It looks like a Mega Greg, but, since Mega Units have vanished from the game after this update, this is probably a new version of the character.

Plenty of Magical Trees will spawn continuously in this Battle Mod. You have to run around and cut them down using Greg to earn more Gems.

Timeout

The Timeout Battle Mod in Squad Busters is expected to become one of the best in the game. As seen in the official update teaser video, Timeout has players begin with 200 Gems. There will be a timer on all the players. Once the timer runs out, you will automatically be busted.

You can increase the timer by killing monsters, cutting down trees, and other such activities. The last man standing wins.

Hatchling Herder

This is another new mod where you will capture chickens that will follow you around, as seen in the official update teaser video.

While it is still slightly unclear what the main objective is, the community expects that players will be able to capture each others' Hatchlings. Presumably, the player with the most Hatchlings wins.

Apart from these, there will be a new Volcano Gem Mine on the Lava World map. This is a new type of Gem Mine where it seems like a volcano erupts three times, sending three Golems in three different directions. These Golems explode upon hitting the ground to scatter Gems around.
