Ahead of the release of the new season, the developers finally unveiled all the upcoming weapons in XDefiant Season 1. In a recent XDebrief session on Ubisoft’s official YouTube channel, Patrick Price, the system designer of XDefiant explained all the pros and cons of the upcoming secondary and primary weapons.

Apart from several new weapons, the community will receive numerous in-game content like, a brand-new GSK faction, ranked mode, and a handful of freebies. Among a plethora of content, the upcoming weapons have made the headlines.

Upcoming weapons in XDefiant Season 1

As discussed, Patrick Price has unveiled all the new weapons ready to emerge in XDefiant Season 1. Ranging from assault rifles to a secondary shotgun, the community will soon get these new weapons following the release of the season.

The LVOA-C is the sixth addition to the list of assault rifles available in XDefiant Season 1. According to the developers, this rifle has a better handling and fire rate than the M4.

Additionally, it has the fastest TTK to body compared to other rifles in-game. However, there are some drawbacks as it has higher recoil and less range than traditional assault rifles.

Here’s a dev-recommended loadout to use the LVOA-C to its full capability:

• Front Rail: Vertical Grip
• Rear Grip: Grip Tape
• Magazine: Extended Mag

L115 sniper rifle

While many players have complained about the lack of sniping weapons, the developers introduced the L115 sniper rifle in XDefiant. It is palced between the two (Tac 50 and M44) snipers.

According to the developers, this weapon is not heavy like the Tac 50 nor fast and snappy like the M44 sniper. Players must aim for the upper torso to inflict the best damage possible on the battlefield.

The sawed-off secondary shotgun is a brand new addition to the list of secondary weapons in XDefiant Season 1. According to the developers, it’s one of the most lethal secondary weapons in close range. However, players will get a 5-10% movement nerf while using this weapon.

According to Patrick, ahead of XDefiant season 1, the L115 sniper rifle and sawed-off shotgun is a go-to combo for arena shooter connoisseurs.
