All Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves

Outlier Tacet Discords are new, unique Tacet Discords introduced in version 1.3 of Wuthering Waves. These are enhanced versions of the standard variants, and defeating them for the first time grants rich rewards, including multiple Supply Chests and new Trophies. There are a total of five Outlier Tacet Discords in the new The Black Shores area, including The Black Shores Archipelago and the Tethys' Deep area.

Unlocking Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves

Five Outlier Tacet Discords currently exist in version 1.3 of Wuthering Waves, and they can be unlocked by leveling up the Data Hub in the Tethys' Hub region. For each level upgrade, one Outlier Tacet Discord is unlocked. Once you reach Level 5, all Outlier Tacet Discords will be unlocked and available for challenging.

Outlier Tacet Discords in Wuthering Waves: Information, locations, and rewards

A first time clear of an Outlier Tacet Discord will reward you with three different types of Supply Chests: one Standard Supply Chest, one Advanced Supply Chest, and one Premium Supply Chest. This means that you can get up to 70 Astrites from defeating one Outlier Tacet Discord, and a total of 350 Astrites from defeating all five of them.

You will also get one new Trophy each in Wuthering Waves version 1.3 (a total of five) for defeating the Outlier Tacet Discords. These are the locations of the five Outlier Tacet Discords, along with some information and tips regarding how to defeat them:

1) Outlier Tacet Discord #1: Hedgepuff

This Outlier Tacet Discord is an enhanced version of the Common Class Gulpuff Tacet Discord. The Hedgepuff is gigantic in size and is pretty tanky. It can be found in the TD Observatory area in The Black Shores Archipelago.

The Hedgepuff is capable of forming giant bubbles in order to trap you. Getting trapped in one of these will immobilize you and also reduce your HP, so try and dodge whenever you see them coming. Defeating the Hedgepuff will give you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy "Giant Balloon."

2) Outlier Tacet Discord #2: Blazing Cutlass

This Outlier Discord is an enhanced version of the Common Class Fusion Warrior, and is located in the southern area of The Black Shores Archipelago. Like the standard Fusion Warrior, it has dual blades, but its attacks are a lot more powerful.

Steer clear of (or dodge) its high speed attacks, and retaliate by attacking when you find a correct window. Defeating the Blazing Cutlass will give you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy "A Fight For The Best, A Fight To The Death."

3) Outlier Tacet Discord #3: Cyclone Swarm

The Cyclone Swarm Outlier Tacet Discord is basically a group of Cruisewings who have teamed up to create a formidable swarm. Although Cruisewings by themselves hardly pose any harm, they are tough enemies when they attack as a swarm. They can be found in the Bank of Life area in Tethys' Deep.

The trick to defeating this swarm is to group them all together. Using characters with AoE attacks is a good choice. Defeating the Cyclone Swarm will give you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy "Mission Impossible."

4) Outlier Tacet Discord #4: Tambourine Duo

The Tambourine Duo Outlier Tacet Discord can be found southwest of the Modulation Hall in Tethys' Deep. They are a duo of two Tambourinist Tacet Discords, who work seamlessly together to unleash waves of attacks one after the other.

Defeating the Tambourine Duo is easy enough, as they are surprisingly not very tanky. Bring your best DPS characters and you will breeze through this fight. Defeating the Tambourine Duo will give you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy "Bells, Solitude and Solaris-3."

5) Outlier Tacet Discord #5: Alptop Champion

The Alptop Champion Outlier Tacet Discord is an enhanced Elite Class Rocksteady Guardian Tacet Discord. Rocksteady Guardians are already pretty tanky by nature, and this one is no different. It can be found in the Eidoscape region in Tethys' Deep.

The Alptop Champion hits very hard, so make sure you can dodge or avoid its attacks. Use your best DPS characters along with a healer/buffer to bring the enemy down and defeat it. Defeating the Alptop Champion will give you the Footprints of the Shores I trophy "Cataclysm."
