All quality of life features and changes in Honkai Star Rail 3.0

The upcoming version of Honkai Star Rail 3.0 is set to introduce a series of quality of life features to the game. The developers are hoping these optimizations and updates to the various systems of the game can smoothen out the Trailblazing adventures for players. In a recent blog post, HoYoverse unveiled a set of these quality of life features that will be introduced to the game with the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update.

Provided below is a detailed list of every upcoming tweak that HoYoverse has announced:

1) Relic System optimization

The Relic System in Honkai Star Rail has received several tweaks that will decrease the grind it takes to build your characters. Firstly, there is a new item called the Wishful Resin. You can use this alongside the Self-Modeling Resin to craft any artifact with main stats and sub stats of your choice.

Here is a breakdown of how the system will work.

• Consuming 1 Self-Modeling and 1 Wishful Resin will allow you to get 1 main stat and 1 sub stat of your choice.
• Consuming 1 Self-Modeling and 4 Wishful Resin will allow you to get 1 main stat and 2 sub stats of your choice.

There is also another new item called Variable Dice that allows you to reroll a +15 Relic in case you are not satisfied with the enhancements to the stats. You can select whether to keep the new stat rolls or the old ones.

You will also be able to select between obtaining Relic remains of enhancement materials when you discard +15 5-star ones.

2) Update to Material Stages

You will be able to access any Calyx, Stagnant Shadow, or Relic Cavern regardless of whether you have them activated. You can access them using the Interastral Handbook.

3) Increase to Trailblaze Power and Immersifier cap

The Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update will increase the cap for the Trailblaze Power from 240 to 300. Immersifier, the item that you can use to obtain Planar Ornaments, will also get an increase — you will be able to hold 12 instead of 8.

4) Leveling Guide System

A new Leveling Guide System will be implemented with version 3.0. You will be able to see how much material your selected character requires to get to the level you want them to.

5) Treasure Gadget

One of the most important quality of life additions with the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update is the introduction of a Treasure Gadget. This will mark any nearby chest on your minimap. You can get this item by reaching the specific levels in the collection (Clockie Statue, The Shop in Herta Space Station) in the corresponding world.

6) Finality's Vision: Leap of Traiblaze

Version 3.0 of Honkai Star Rail will allow you to get early access to newer storylines. Using the Finality's Vision: Leap of Traiblaze system, you will be able to access and enjoy storylines of Amphoreus and Penacony without needing to play through previous chapters.

7) Daily Mission changes

Following the release of version 3.0, Daily Missions will be removed from the game and the Credits x 5000 reward from the quest will be added to the Daily Training. Additionally, new Adventure Missions will be available that will allow you to experience the stories from the Daily Missions.

8) Path Switching System upgrade

The Patch Switching System is set to receive an upgrade among the many quality of life features to be introduced in the Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update. Firstly, there will be a new screen available for switching Paths, and secondly, the Harmony will be added here for those who have yet to unlock it or didn't claim it from the Travel Log page.

9) DLSS feature for PC

HoYoverse is set to introduce DLSS for PCs with NVIDIA RTX 20 series or higher GPUs with the upcoming Honkai Star Rail 3.0 update.

10) Smart Equip system

You can choose what Relics to equip on your characters using the new Smart Equip feature. This will be either a popular gear setup or the one that the game suggests to you. Additionally, the title will remind you in case your Relic level does not match your set plan.
