Broken Moon in Apex Legends is one of the featured maps for Season 22 Ranked Leagues. After the recent changes to the Recon Legends’ kit, some have become quite strong in most maps while others' pick rates have dropped drastically. As Broken Moon is featured in Ranked, players must play with meta-defining characters to increase their chances of winning the match.
There are four Legends in the Recon Class; therefore, players don't have that many characters to choose from. This article lists all Recon Legends from best to worst.

Best Recon class Legends for Broken Moon in Apex Legends
1) Crypto
After the launch of Season 22, Crypto received a significant buff, allowing him to go invisible while piloting his drone. Just after this buff went live, his pick rate sky-rocketed, and all teams now at least feature one Crypto in it.
As for Crypto’s performance in Broken Moon, he can dominate in every match. There are many cliffs and small crevices that help him hide well while controlling his drone. Additionally, this map is quite big, and players can easily acquire their Blue EVO perk just a couple of minutes after landing.
Moreover, Crypto’s EMP can deal damage through walls. This is quite beneficial for him as he can just deal damage to the enemies sitting inside a building without even worrying about his drone getting destroyed.
2) Vantage
Vantage is another character you should not be neglecting when playing Broken Moon in Apex Legends. After the Season 22 buff, she can hit enemies harder with her Ultimate ability’s sniper rifle. The damage modifier of the weapon was increased to 2.5x from 2x, allowing her to deal lethal damage on the second hit.
Since there are many buildings and cliffs that Vantage can stand on, she can be a menace to opponents and can knock them down one by one.
3) Bloodhound
If you don't have both of the abovementioned characters unlocked, Bloodhound is a solid choice for Broken Moon in Apex Legends. Although he is not in his prime state, he can still be quite effective in hunting his enemies down by tracking them.
Moreover, his ultimate grants him a decent amount of speed boost, helping him move faster. This also allows Bloodhound to get from one place to another faster and helps him become a hard target to hit while fighting.
4) Seer
As many players may have predicted, Seer is placed at the bottom of this list. His kit is unique and fun to play with, but when compared to the other Recon class Legends, his abilities are quite easy to dodge.
Seer’s ultimate allows him to create an orb around him that reveals the real-time location of the opponents. As the range of this ability is limited, adversaries can just stop pushing Seer and his team and wait for the ability’s timer to run out, rendering him useless in various scenarios.
