6) Grieved Body

Description

  • A strong body, an uncertain destiny. Massively reduces fall damage.

Perks

  • Nimble Body: Greatly reduces the Stamina cost of all charged Heavy Attacks.
  • Everlasting Vitality: Greatly increases Maximum Health.
  • Divine Safeguard: Greatly boosts Four Bane Resistance.

The Grieved Body Relic has relatively insignificant bonuses in Black Myth Wukong. The most desirable bonus is Everlasting Vitality, which enhances your total health. Nimble Body also provides some benefits by decreasing the stamina expenditure for charged heavy attacks.

However, these passive bonuses are quite underwhelming for a late-game Relic, and there are far superior alternatives available. The optimal application of this Relic is when your overall health is critically low because of insufficient armor or weapons. Another way to use it is alongside Divine Safeguard during specific encounters that involve the Four Bane debuff.

Recommended perk: Everlasting Vitality

5) Envious Tongue

Description

  • To embrace its potency, be prepared for its bitterness. Extends the duration of effects for all medicines.

Perks

  • Refreshing Taste: The Critical Hit Chance of the next attack rises after taking medication.
  • Spread the Word: The Immobilize spell affects all enemies around the target.
  • Tongue of A Connoisseur: Every equipped Soak slightly increases the drink's ability to recover health.

The Envious Tongue Relic in Black Myth Wukong stands out for its late-game accessibility and focus on consumable beverages. Its most beneficial passive is the Tongue of A Connoisseur perk, which proves advantageous when the Gourd supports up to four soaks during the end-game. Increased soaks lead to enhanced healing, providing a defensive boost when it is most critical.

The Relic also features the Spread the Word passive, which can be combined with the Immobilize spell. This combination transforms Immobilize into an area-of-effect spell, making it useful for managing groups.

However, Envious Tongue does not possess the same strength as other options on this list. Having a more substantial offensive or defensive advantage would elevate its ranking.

Recommended perk: Tongue of A Connoisseur

4) Hubris Nose

Description

  • The nose chases fragrance just as the mind craves ecstasy. Enhances the ability to find hidden ingredients in the wild.

Perks

  • Lingering Aroma: Obtains a moderate Damage Bonus shortly after casting a spell.
  • In One Breath: The Focus Points can be charged up to 4 within the Ring of Fire spell.
  • Hold Breath: Moderately extends the Dodge invincibility time.

The Hubris Nose Relic in Black Myth Wukong surpasses the Envious Tongue Relic because of the enhanced damage by the former's Lingering Armor perk. Although spells are not the primary gameplay element in the game, combining low-cooldown ones with a Lingering Armor boost to amplify damage post-casting is incredibly effective.

However, when your goal is to concentrate on the Ring of Fire spell, the In One Breath passive aids in accumulating focus to 4. It is a great bonus to equip for the Thrust Stance build.

The Hubris Nose Relic's ranking could have been higher if it included passives that are useful for all builds, particularly those that provide offensive benefits.

Recommended perk: Lingering Armoa

3) Freed Mind

Description

  • Be he Sage or Buddha, the dawn has yet to be brought, just like the mantra. Through memory and obsession, a new journey to the West can be embarked upon.

Perks

  • Elegance in Simplicity: Moderately increases the Light Attack damage.
  • Unified Minds: While performing some powerful moves, your duplicates will follow suit.
  • Unbegotten, Undying: After activating the Life-Saving Strand, you can avoid death and gain significant damage reduction for a short period.

Freed Mind is the final Relic in the game; it becomes accessible after you finish the main storyline. However, unlocking its benefits requires reaching the Black Myth Wukong’s secret ending.

One significant reason this Relic is not ranked higher is the extensive time commitment required to acquire it. However, you can use the Relic from the beginning in New Game+.

The most notable perk of this Relic is Unified Minds, which significantly enhances damage from the duplicates of your character by allowing them to replicate powerful abilities. Elegance in Simplicity offers a moderate increase in light attack damage, delivering a significant enhancement that you can easily notice.

The Unbegotten, Undying perk proves useful when your health is critically low, approaching death. Once activated, this perk grants considerable damage reduction.

Recommended perk: Unified Minds

Description

  • From the faintest noise, capture the deepest significance. Both ventures bring both pride and resistance. Echoes of the past can be found where karma lingers.

Perks

  • All Ears: Slightly increases the invincibility time of the first move of all Varied Combos.
  • Sound as a Bell: Narrows the window of the Rock Solid Deflection spell but returns half the mana cost of the spell after a successful Deflection.
  • Whistling Wind: It temporarily increases Attack following a Perfect Dodge.

The Fuming Ears Relic is the second-best option in Black Myth Wukong due to its Whistling Wind perk, which enhances damage by 20% following a Perfect Dodge. Mastering Perfect Dodge is crucial in this game. The significant damage boost earned provides both offensive and defensive advantages through a single passive ability.

Furthermore, you can use the All Ears perk to improve survivability after executing the Varied Combos. Finally, if you're utilizing the Rock Solid spell, you can trade off the reflection window duration for a return on mana cost when a deflection is successfully executed.

The drawback of this Relic is its inability to boost or refine focus attacks, unlike Craving Eyes.

Recommended perk: Whistling Wind

  • Eagle Eye: This spell's cooldown is greatly lowered following an effective Unveiling Strike hit.
  • Keen Insight: Greatly boosts Four Bane Resistance.

Craving Eyes stands out as the top Relic in Black Myth Wukong, thanks to the Opportune Watcher perk that enhances focus on light attacks.

A notable advantage of Craving Eyes is the Keen Insight passive, which enhances critical hit damage. By combining this bonus with the Cloud Step spell and the talent that increases critical hit chance, you can achieve a nearly stealthy burst attack. This is a great choice for aggressive gameplay.

The primary drawback of Craving Eyes in Black Myth Wukong is its lack of strength in defensive bonuses.

Recommended perk: Opportune Watcher
