Secret notes can be divided into two types: Informative notes and quest notes. The secret notes numbered one to nine provide information about the likes and dislikes of different Pelican Town residents.

Since gifting is an integral part of raising friendships, these notes will come in handy if you’re planning to marry a particular Stardew Valley bachelor.

The notes from numbers 10 to 25 are more interesting as they require you to complete a certain task or challenge quest to claim its reward. These rewards are often in the form of useful items, lore revelations, or new character interactions.

Note that you need to have the secret note in your inventory to trigger the event and reward. Hence, following the steps mentioned in this article without the appropriate note, will not trigger the events and rewards.
