With Apex Legends' newest Season right around the corner, players will be hyped to know that Storm Point will rejoin the game's map rotation with a fresh new look. Introduced in Season 11, the map has definitely been regarded as one of the best for competitive play by the entire community. With far-spread POIs, it offers enough loot for all players in the lobby while providing simultaneous action across the entirety of the map.

It has been confirmed that Storm Point will be seeing a classic town takeover with Season 19 Ignite. To get a more detailed brief on the matter, read below.

With their newest gameplay trailer, Respawn Entertainment has showcased that Storm Point will feature a Wattson town takeover.

With the Mirage-à -trois and other takeovers being immensely popular amidst the Apex community, we expect this to be a huge hit as well. Better yet, the map will introduce a whole new range of Points of Interest (POIs) for players to explore and engage.

The blog post indicates that the following POIs have been added to the Storm Point to freshen up the battle royale experience:

  1. ZEUS Station
  2. Devastated Coast
  3. Echo HQ
  4. Coastal Camp

Respawn has gone overboard with the new additions, keeping in tune with the stormy teaser they had been showcasing prior to the release of Season 18. As players traverse through the map, they will find quite a surprise at the devastating changes the forecasted storm has brought upon the map.

The newest additions have architecture and scenery comparable to that of Broken Moon, featuring big pylons and wide-open industrial buildings. The initial weeks of the game will definitely see a surge of hot-dropping maniacs, hungry for action, taking control of these locations.

The developer blog also indicates that this update is definitely the most exciting Storm Point has ever been. Every corner will feature Prowlers, Spiders, or even better yet, Legends who are seeking to chase the action and secure some eliminations.

We definitely urge players to keep their weapons hot and ready, as they will never know what hit them otherwise.
