All teams qualified for Esports World Cup PUBG tournament so far

PlayerUnknown's BattleGrounds (PUBG) is another battle royale title that will be featured in the Esports World Cup 2024. A total of 24 teams will be participating in this tournament and fighting for the first position and a hefty percentage of the USD 2,000,000 prize pool. The entire event will be hosted offline (LAN matches) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia commencing on August 21.

This article will highlight all the qualified teams for the Esports World Cup PUBG tournament so far.

Here is a list of all the Global Power Ranking teams for the upcoming Esports World Cup PUBG 2024 tournament:

The roster for each team has not been announced and will be showcased at a later date. With eight spots occupied, the rest of the qualifiers will bring in the best teams from different regions and fill the remaining 16 slots in the competition.

A total of three teams will be qualifying from the EMEA region, three from Korea, four from APAC, three from the Americas, and three from China.

The tournament will divide all these teams into three groups (A, B, and C) and host a series of group stages. The first 16 teams on the leaderboard will progress to the Grand Finals while the lower eight will be eliminated from the tournament.

In the Grand Finals, all 16 teams will compete to secure a match victory as the last team standing after gaining the 70-point threshold. The first team to achieve this feat will be crowned champions of the Esports World Cup PUBG 2024. The first position will also be awarded a total of $700,000, $350,000 for the second team, and $210,000 for the third.

The organizers have also decided to reward the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament with $50,000. This will serve as a great incentive for the teams to do their best and showcase the best gameplay to create highlight-worthy clips.

All of the regional tournaments are expected to conclude by the third week of July 2024. This will provide all qualified teams with time to practice before their debut on the world stage in Riyadh.
