Zenless Zone Zero offers a unique gameplay feature that allows you to navigate Bangboo when entering the Hollow through the TV screens during the main story and commission quests. Each TV screen shows a different symbol, representing a different mechanic, such as enemy force, Gear Coins, and a friendly unit. However, navigating through them can be slightly confusing if one is not aware of the effects of these TV symbols.
This article lists all the TV symbols in Zenless Zone Zero and provides their descriptions.

As the symbol's name suggests, it is the starting point after you enter the Hollow.
Target
This is the location of the objective during the commissions.
Unknown Area
It represents an uncharted area.
Secret Path
Stepping on the Secret Path will take you to a hidden area.
Fissure Leading Deeper
Stepping into the fissure will lead you to the depths of the Hollow but you can't return using this. You must find another route if you wish to return.

Downward Passage
The Downward Passage is a portal to the depths of the Hollow. Unlike the Fissure Leading Deeper, you can use a Downward Passage to return at any time.
Upward Passage
Upward Passage lets you return to the previous floor. Like the Downward Passage, you can return through it at any time.
Observations
Observations let you observe the location of the next route. You might be able to discover new routes.
Trigger Switch
Stepping on the Trigger Switch activates a mechanism or equipment. Once the mechanism is activated, the action cannot be undone.
Button Switch
The Button Switch also triggers a mechanism but it only works when it is held down. You must use a movable obstacle to hold the switch.
Reset Button
As the name suggests, the Reset Button resets all the mechanisms inside a specific area. You can use it to fix a mistake.
Tracks
Tracks let you swiftly move to the end of a track.
Closed Gate
The gate is closed and it can only be opened using Gear Coins.

Opened Gate
This icon represents a gate that has been opened.
Assets
You can obtain Dennies by stepping over the Asset icons.
Gear Coin Case
Step over the Gear Coin Case to obtain a large amount of Gear Coins.
Safety Zone
This is a safety zone that can reduce your Pressure.
Rest Area
You can recover some HP by stepping over a rest area.
Disconnection
Stepping on a Disconnection tile increases your Pressure.
Corruption
You will lose HP if you step on the Corruption tile.
Ether Dewdrops
You can step on Ether Dewdrops to revitalize your incapacitated Agents.
Observation Site
As the name suggests, this is an observation site.
Deserted Observation Site
The title is deserted and there is no data available.
Elite Investigator's Supply Box
You can obtain the most advanced upgrade materials for your Agents by stepping on the Elite Investigator's Supply Box tile.
Senior Investigator's Supply Box
You can obtain advanced upgrade materials for your Agents.
Opened Supply Box
This represents a Supply Box that has already been opened.
Crisis
You will face small mobs. They are not difficult to beat but might appear in large numbers.
Peril
You will face a tough enemy. They are not difficult to beat but are slightly more difficult than the small mobs.
Impasse
You will face the toughest enemy in the Hollow.
Final Battle
This represents the battle against the final enemy.

Investigator
They are the pioneer of the Hollows and can serve as temporary allies.
Hollow Raiders
Hollow Raiders are your competitors. Most of them are friendly but one shouldn't trust them all the time.
The Behemoth
A peerless steel beast in the Hollows.
Gold Excavation Point
You can try your luck and dig for Dennies in the depths of the Hollows.
Normal Enemy
These are wandering enemies with very low threat levels.
Companions
Companions are friendly units that will follow you wherever you go.

Dead End Butcher
Dead End Butcher is a terrifying enemy that roams through dead ends.
Train
Trains are a rare sight in the Hollows.
Obstacle
You can find these obstacles in the Hollows but you can move them.
Movable Obstacle
It is a movable obstacle that can be pushed aside. Additionally, it switches places with Bangboo when pushed against a wall.
